I'm in the market for buying a good camera, i want a DSLR, but i seem to be bad at buying cameras. I recently bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-90 and it seems like i can barely get any good pictures, I just hate it! I know we have some decent photographers on here (Pez) who can share some advice on their camera knowledge.
My current camera, if the object moves slightly, the picture turns out to be total crap. Maybe it's me?
So any advice..

I'm disappointed because i'm here in Kuwait and could be getting some beautiful pictures of this ****ty place and my cybershot isn't really cutting it.

It seems like all Sony products have really turned to **** lately. If youre looking for affordable cameras keep Cannon on your short list. I figure you could find a nice older model relatively cheap now that will take some damn fine pictures for you.

I was thinking about going with a Canon Rebel XTI

Unless you're a fanatic you should be fine with one of the older models, like an 8-10 Megapixel, you can blow those up quite a bit without pixilation. Not to mention you can probably find an SLR for ~$100-200 if you get a year old model, and it will be pretty nice for beginners.
