Just for the record, this piece of garbage was getting stood up again while Favre... I mean, Grossman stood back there for 10 minutes to make that throw.

Nice job, John. Same old same old. He's got to have photos of Bowlen or something.

Yeah..the reason we lost was because of Engelberger. You've solved it again...it's the case cracker.

When did he ever say that?

Or it could be that the best shut-down corner in the game once again failed to come up with a big play.

I'm beginning to think that he's maybe just real good.

When did he ever say that?

I think he's referring to Popps' tendency to make really remedial level observations, most of which are wrong, and then pretending he's some kind of football Sherlock Holmes. Shortly after this he'll create a thread to pat himself on the back like he was right all along (reality be damned).

Kaylore,

Your new obsession with me is disturbing.

It was pretty funny the last time I called you on this, I got rep from people who are apparently just freaked out at how weird you've gotten.

Your football takes are already horrible, but add psychotic man-crush to the mix, and you're just unbearable.

Again, sorry you can't follow simple football conversation. Now, run along and make love to your blow-up DJ Williams doll.

Seriously dude, get yourself checked in somewhere. You're just freaky disturbing.

When did he ever say that?

Obviously, I didn't.

I'm just tired of seeing Engleberger get stood up for 10 seconds on huge, game-changing plays. (2 game winning plays, included.)

Ekuban getting hurt cost us dearly, but I just can't understand starting a guy this untalented.

He's real good, but had better games.

We lost or push up front in the 2nd half. That would have helped his cause.

I thought the D-Line did pretty good for the 1st 55 minutes or so. Elvis played great despite being assaulted on nearly every snap. Kenny Peterson was the man today and Crowder continues to play well. What happened after that I don't know. Were they gassed, did we change scheme? Whatever it was it obviously didn't work.

Engelberger is good for what he is, a high motor backup who can do the job asked of him as long as his play is restricted to special teams, goal line, and short yardage situations.

When we try and make him into a pass rusher we suffer for it, like we did today.

We should be starting Crowder and Dumervil every week from here on out with a little of the other DEs sprinkled in, but not too much. They're the playmakers and should be getting as much action as possible to let them further develop into those roles.

The defense did play well today, and John Engelberger was a part of it. If you feel you must point a finger....point it at the special teams

Engleberger is a below average player talent wise that we always make room for some reason. SF was eager to pitch his butt and we were happy to take their trash.

Sad sign of the times that we can't find anybody to beat this guy out.

He played so poorly last year, I was shocked to see him make the team again.

Like I said, the Ekuban injury hurt us more than I think we all realized, and I admit I was critical of Ekuban being just average. He looks like a Pro Bowl'er about not.

No, he's just saying a more detailed version of what the thread topic was.

So, he made a nice post... but only agreed with the topic.
