The Colts are getting hit hard with the injury bug just like us. Bummer for them... Sorry if nobody cares about this.

The Indianapolis Colts’ ever-expanding injury report remains uncertain in the wake of Sunday night’s loss at San Diego, but it appears that one of their most important players, defensive end Dwight Freeney, could miss at least next weekend's game and possibly more.

Freeney, offensive linemen Ryan Diem and Charlie Johnson and defensive tackle Keyunta Dawson all left the game with injuries.
“They’re coming in ... to see the doctors, and we don’t really know where they are,” coach Tony Dungy said of the injured players today. “We’ll see what happens. As of now we’re preparing other guys to play this week.”
Dungy said Freeney, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, has an unspecified injury to his left foot. The coach didn't offer a timetable on a return.
Freeney left the game in the fourth quarter after a Chargers offensive lineman appeared to roll up on the back of his left ankle. Freeney was carted into the locker room and later was wearing a boot on the foot.
Gary Wichard, the player's agent, said he spoke to Freeney after the game, and that Freeney "said it felt really weird and he was going to get it looked at. He told me he was stepped on when he was doing a spin move."
Said Dungy: “(Defensive back) Marlin (Jackson) had the same type of thing and was able to play the next week. Until the doctors say what’s going on, you just never know.
"(Tight end) Dallas (Clark) last year had the same situation. We thought we were going to put him on I.R. and a few minutes before we did they said he might be able to get back. You just never know.”
Clark missed four games late in the season with a knee injury, but returned for the regular-season finale and the playoffs.
The Colts entered Sunday’s game with just 44 players, one short of a full roster, and were without six starters: Clark (concussion), wide receiver Marvin Harrison (knee), linebackers Tyjuan Hagler (neck) and Freddy Keiaho (ear), offensive tackle Tony Ugoh (neck) and defensive tackle Raheem Brock (neck). In addition, slot receiver Anthony Gonzalez was out with a dislocated thumb.
Dungy said Harrison and perhaps some of the other injured players would have played if it had been a playoff game.
“We’re trying to eliminate the Bob Sanders situation where you play one and miss one and play one and still have lingering effects,” Dungy said, referring to the safety's missed games last season. “Hopefully that time will come
“We had some other guys I’m sure who would have played if it was a playoff game. But we’ve got seven more games to play.”
