I am sure there is enough threads on this , But man Gold played one hellva game , Cutler did good , Brandon Marshal can hits some real high notes right now , No Rod , No Javon , No Nails , this offense held together pretty well , But our Defense , where in the hell did they come from ?
Doom played lights out , Webster look like he had a clue , D.J. Williams was even in the mix ....... going into Narrowhead and opening up a can of Wup ass ,is something we havent done in a long time ..... question is , was this game a turning point game in the season ?
Is it a turning point??? Only time will tell. I hope so. I had alot more fun watching us play today than I have in a while.

Props to you for toughing it out in a Walmart parking lot.
I'm not a big Gold fan, but he stepped up in a big way.
Jay played threw some pain, that pass to Graham was perfect.

I was very impressed today. VERY impressed. The only time i was ready to throw my cat through the TV was when they got the safety. The D played well, and the offense held up. And i hope its a turning point, but we all said the same things during the Pitt. game. We then all saw what happened the next week. So as hopeful as I am, I'm going to try and be realistic. But overall, GREAT win, at a GREAT time. hopefully we can keep it up.

For whatever reason, Gold and Williams looked like they should look today... chasing down plays side to side more than stuck out in the open field, or crashing the line and guessing wrong.
What did we do differently today?
I know K.C. sucks, but to go from the D we played last week to this is pretty severe. Hopefully we do build on it.

Many good things today, but penalties killed us. Special teams seems to get better except penalties. Get Stokley the ball more

No he'd never throw Beezer through the TV.

It's all about that sense of urgency you feel when you finally realize your job may truly be on the line...It's amazing how deep down people will dig to perform better when their "bread on the table" is being jeperdized..

A lot of it is because KC's O really, really sucks. From the line on back. We aren't going to look this good on D against a good O. On the flip side there were a few bright spots. Marshall, Young and our O-Line against a stout KC D.

I was wondering the same thing, i.e., are we improving, or do the Chorfs just suck that bad?
