Here's a thread to show appreciation for the many, MANY accomplishments and outstanding achievements of Mike Shannahan.
Thank you for coming in and instilling a system and a philosophy that has led to the most lethal offense in the NFL during your tenure.
Thank you for instilling a championship mind-set and bringing two Lombardi Trophies home and assembling one of the greatest SB teams of all time.
Thank you for vindicating Bronco fans that waited decades for those Championships.
Thank you for being competitive and approaching your roster with aggression every off-season.
Thank you for never giving up or making excuses, even when most of these "Bronco Fan" jerk-offs have given up on you.
And in advance, thank you for proving them wrong soon.
To those same "Bronco Fan" jerk-offs that I recently mentioned, Mike Shannahan IS the Broncos as much as John Elway and Floyd Little, so eat a fat one.

Great thread Rev. People don't understand how average this team will became if he is forced out the door or resigns.

Let's hope they don't have that chance and instead just have another decade to bitch about winning seasons, play off appearances, and championships.

WTF? It's a legitimate question, or are we supossed to accept this crap as good enough after the losses to SD and the Kittens?

Fortunately Bowlen has been around and knows a little more about football than some of the idiots posting on these boards. Shanahan isn't leaving unless he chooses to, and I'll say "Thank God" for that.
I've also begun bookmarking the threads that are being kicked around now so that they can be bumped in a year or two and we can all watch the "Broncos Fans" try to back pedal their way out of their comments... or most likely not watch them, since they won't have the balls to come back around.

Aye, the day Mike leaves will be a somber one indeed. He deserves many thanks for all his accomplishments and making the Broncos a world class organization.
Thank you, Mr. Shanahan.:notworthy

Listen, Sorry I popped off. I didn't realize. But in all seriousness, this is an APPRECIATION thread. If your not here to appreciate, then take it to one of the many other threads that are more in line with your opinions.
btw, 66000 posts? since 2001? jeeezus.

Mike Shannahan is the man...I have faith, the drafting has been spotty, but with a few more years of wheeling and dealing we have a great future. I loko forward to Mike bringing the team together and getting the most out of the talent...Lately our fans have been overly spoiled by success.

Shanahan brought a winning attitude back to the Broncos. For that, I'm grateful. I'm not sure that attitude exists today, though...
I knew I would vomit reading this BS thread. Best coach in the NFL.... yeah right.

In Shanahan's time here, the Broncos have had more winning seasons than the Saints in their entire existance. For those of you that think things are bad, just remember they could be much worse.
I wonder if there is a coach in the NFL with as many seasons and had less losing seasons.

ROFL please show some proof how he is the best coach in the NFL, maybe with John Elway at TD at the helm but he hasnt done Jack **** since then. I swear this team manages to beat one of the worst offense's in the NFL a offense that had no QB AT ALL, and all of a sudden Shannyhand is Brilliant agian. /laff
And lets not forget they were missing their all pro RB and started a 85 year old dinosaur in his spot.
When this team manages to put together wins agianst quality teams and actually does something in the Playoffs for once, I'll be here to eat my crow. Untill then I'll stick with my opinion that Shanny-hand is a decent coach that needs to let loose of the GM reigns (and yeah I know about his puppet GM, im talking about getting a real one), that or hit the road.

Can we get a mod to change Soja's screen name to KingRetard or something to that effect. He just says stupid ass stuff all the time and his screen name shouldn't be remotely tied to Broncos football.

Joe Montana, Steve Young, John Elway....
And now the Shanahan QB Legacy continues with Jesus Christ Jay Cutler.

No.
Jacksonville = (7-3); barring unforeseen circumstances, will make the playoffs either as a division champion or as a WC.
Indy = (8-2) defending SB champions and division leaders; undefeated & healthy when we played them).
SD = average (5-5); until this weekend, division leaders; still tied for the lead.
Green Bay = (9-1) divison leaders. Most likely will make the playoffs.
Detroit = (6-4) average, but possible WC; their record is the same as two division leaders in the NFC.
Odds are pretty good that all 5 could be playoff teams.
