How many picks did Moss cost us (when factoring in that we had to trade a 3rd rounder to get Thomas)? Something like 5 picks. What a bummer.

The Broncos chose defensive end Jarvis Moss in the first round to bolster a mostly toothless pass rush. Now, with Moss having suffered a broken right fibula and ligament damage to his right ankle in a practice accident last week, the Denver brass fears the former University of Florida star will lose some of his up field explosiveness. Moss will have surgery to repair his ankle early this week.

Everything short of a Natural Disaster has hit this team. Right now hoping to salvage next season should be on Shanahan mind.

You can't judge a move based on an injury. You can not agree with the pick or whatever, but to come in and say "haha told you so" after the guy suffers and injury is weak sauce.

Now I've seen it all.

For years we've thirsted for DL talent and when we take a stud DE in the first round it's buyers remorse.
Ha! Ha!

Just par for the course with Shanny and Sundquist.

Yes, they broke his ankle. Good job, Matlock.

Who from the Denver brass said this?

We got burned with Toviessi I dont see that happening again. Moss should be fine. It would be more worrying if he snapped/ruptured his achilles tendon or something like that. In that situation there's a decent chance the player loses some acceleration.

We have to go DL DL DL OL OL OL in this draft, there's just no question.

Then, we need to sign some real NFL linebackers.

We have enough fancy skill position players and high paid cornerbacks. How about some ****ing guys in the trenches!

So we should arbitrarily add picks from another trade just to inflate the number used to get Moss?

and they gave up 2 picks to get him and swapped 1sts.
