Sucks for me too but what can we do?

Not a damn thing but laugh about it and dream of better days.

Lets face it, we are basically in the same boat, your team has more wins in the last 10 yrs or so with nothing to show for it since your 2 glory years.
We have had a couple of good seasons in the last 10 with a blowout Superbowl loss to show for it.

It could be worse, we could be KC fans and not even sniffed a Superbowl since Gatorade was invented ROFL!

We have more SB wins but it's been forever
We have more head to head wins but if we don't get on the ball thats not gonna last long.

Maybe the Raiders will be starting Russell by then? They have used about every girl on the dance floor....

In the win loss category you're right.

But given that we've got so many injuries across the board I think the Broncos will look to rebound very soon.

Unless Jamarcus Russell turns out to be the real deal I don't see where the raiders are going to crawl out of the cellar.

I don't think there are shanarat haters out there. I think you have some fans that see him as the central figure for all the team problems. Face it, shanarat has total control over the personnel and hiring of all the coaches. So logically, when the defense, special teams or offense is not performing the target goes back to the person in charge.

When you add up all the successful players versus busts, the same logic applies unless one wants to give the rat an unlimited supply of get out of jail free cards. Nobody who is thinking clearly is going to do that. The fans who are calling for his head understand that he's become lackadaisical. They understand that the only way to motivate him is to cause discomfort. Your owner undermined the motivational factor as soon as the lifetime employment statement was made. On other threads some people have accused Al Davis of meddling and being the cause of the Raiders problems. That is a valid accusation in some cases. Al Davis is responsible for the operation of the Raiders from beginning to end. Just as Al Davis is responsible for the problems of the Raiders; Pat Bowlen is responsible for the donkey problems.

Bottom line is shanarat can only scurry away from responsibility for so long before the glue trap of hell takes hold of those nasty ass rat claws. Shanarat is in the same phase of his career as Don Shula, Chuck Knoll and other coaches who used to have the formula in the beginning of their career but stayed too long. That unenviable washed up boxer ( Meldrick Taylor ) who used to have great boxing skills but now has the brain of jelly from too many ass whippings.

The Raiders have been in last place four years in a row, and working on their fifth (hopefully the Broncos don't get in the way of that). Sorry, but we are not in the same boat. The Broncos suck...this year, but they aren't what the Raiders have become. The Broncos would have to be this bad for the next few years to be in the same boat as the Raiders. You insinuated that shanarat invented the system. I’m merely pointing out the fact that the system wasn’t put into place because of the rat or his success with it. Kiffin hired coaches that could implement the style that was played at USC. So, I am telling you that he’s not looking at the rat and trying to emulate the shanarat system of mediocracy.
