The AFC West as a whole is dreadful. Whoever comes out of this division doesn't even deserve a playoff spot. However, the NFL says that any division winner has to go to the playoffs so, in advance, congrats on getting blown out of the playoffs.

Also, when you know your interior D-Line and you LB's are the worst in the league, you tend to bit on play action.
Our Offense can use the "young" excuse for now. We are vitually rookies and second year players at evey position. 3 on the O-Line (or is it 4, I'm just winging it right now), Marshall and Martinez at WR, Sheff and the grossly overpaid Graham at TE, Jay Cut at QB, and hopefully, sooner than later Selvin at RB. With that chit stacked against you, you know you will struggle on O. That's what the fade have suffered through for 6 year now. In Denver, they will not get 6 years though. I think we are a full year to a year and a half away on O.
Right now, the Fade are better than Denver in every aspect of the game (except coaching). I admit that. however, we are not the worst team in the AFC though. Miami and the Jets are certainly worse then us. After that, Denver is in the mix.

This is the only thing that is stopping us from being utterly abysmal this season. The team has talent and a direction, but we haven't put it all together yet. The next phase for us is getting Russell in there. Hopefully, he will earn all that money and not turn into a bust!

In all fairness to all the AFCW teams, it is a transition for all the teams. Everyone has a young QB either waiting in the wings or learning under fire. Rivers and Cutler will be further along in their development and You boy and Croyle are still being pacified. It's weird how an entire division has very youg QB's. I gotta agree with you on KC. They lost 2 HOF O-Lineman at once and the offense crumbled. It was just a few years ago that they could put up 40 points in the blink of an eye in the first half simply running behind Roaf and Sheilds. LJ isn't long for this league the way they run him. He might be close to done already. I don't think they have the utmost confidence in Croyle either. if they did, they would have said fock Haurd. Haurd is an okay stop gap but he aint winning any playoff games for ya. If that's the case, why not bring Croyle in the way the Broncos did with Jay Cut. I fully expect Russell to be the QB in game one next season. Let him take his lumps.
