John Lynch (Post file)Broncos safety John Lynch received encouraging news from Dr. Robert Watkins regarding MRI results on his neck.
Lynch suffered a pinched nerve in his surgically repaired neck Monday night against Green Bay. He said today that Watkins reviewed the test results in his Los Angeles office and told the Broncos and Lynch that he can resume playing when symptoms from the "stinger" he suffered in the game subside.
Lynch said today he is feeling better and there is a chance he will play at Detroit against the Lions on Sunday.
Lynch, 36, was injured in the first quarter and did not return to Denver's 19-13 overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers.
