After reading all 246 paragraphs of that article, I'm convinced that Gregg Easterbrook = Footsteps from #27.

They both take about 244 more paragraphs than are necessary to try to make a (flawed) point.

For the first time ever, I would rather see the Colts win than the Pats. I just can't take an offseason of every sports media outlet in the country slobbering over the Pats as the greatest team ever a dozen times a day.

The Colts are the team to beat, they won the super bowl last year right.

I hope they do because i don't want to hear about the Pats all off season.

I would rather watch Peyton commercials or hear about Jeff Saturday, frigging media darlings.

Try the Cat 'n the Hat for something less taxing then.

is bellicheck, who cheated and got caught, actually upset about it? the whole "bellicheck is taking it ou on the league" thing has gained momentum. I have a hard time imagining a person with such an enormous victimhood+ego complex that GETTING CAUGHT CHEATING causes this reaction.

frankly I don't think we know 1% of the cheating beli-cheat did. he refused to hand over the original tapes in a timely manner, goodall destroyed them, and they haven't investigated anything else.

The interesting stat is that the Pats opponents have a combined record of 17-28 and the Colts are 20-18. Yes the Pats have blown their opponents out but I'd like to see them play a very good defense.

Overkill by the media.

Thats all it is. Same with any team that is currently dynastic. Colts, NE, any team better than the Broncos. Maybe being a mullet fan you have learned to appreciate good things elsewhere since there is nothing good in KC, but those raised Bronco fans expect greatness out of our team and we dont like someone else getting the limelight even if it is deserved.

I think its cheating mostly. anyone who held a grudge, or thought belli-cheat was arrogant or didn't like tom brady impregnating super models. beli-cheat gave them all carte blanche after he got caught. and of course they're really good now, so ppl talk about them a lot, which just raises the volume on all the ppl saying bad things about beli-cheat.

I actually like the TMQ. Although this past week he was a little crazy I think on the Pats slant (its not true that the Colts never complained when they were losing a few years ago, just think about Peyton talking trash about his o-line) I like when he brings in non-football stuff into his column.

He's pretty intelligent and I feel like he is one of the few columnists who actually tries to watch football on Sundays.

I agree, everyone's anger is misplaced.
