It was 1 fricken game where the defense still gave up way too much. I still think this is an 8-8 team. I think they can beat a very overrated Packers team on Monday and be 4-3 and even more people will be clamoring out of the woodworks, but this team still has holes.

Its not hoping we lose, its being realistic in the chances. Looking at the game against the Steelers, in many peoples opinion, it was a very realistic chance we would lose. I thought we were going to lose as the Steelers would run it down our throats. Turned out to not be the case.
Even if we lost this past Sunday I still think we would beat Green Bay. We really need Champ though come Monday.

Yeah what the hell is wrong with you Blue ? the Broncos needed to look like world beaters , to hell with the improvement phase , we got holes dammit ,no getting around that , time to buckle up mister and realize that ;D......Seriously though , it was a great win for us , D.J.Williams made alot of plays , our Dline really kicked some ass .... once Champ gets back look out ......

I wonder what would happen if:

Rockies playing at home in WS
Broncos Played home Monday
And Plummer was playing the a Denver YMCA Mens Handball tourney at the same time as above games.

What would traffic be like around the Y that day!?

Before this game I felt it was hard to believe that they would turn it around. I'm rooting for them to do so, but it didn't look good. Even after this win, it still doesn't look good. It's a sign that it is still possible to turn things around, but lets not get carried away and act like this win means they are going to make a run at the playoffs. I'm rooting for them to do so, but I'm also being realistic. At 2-4 the season would have been over. At 3-3 they still have a chance. If they can get to 5-3, then I'll start getting excited about the possibility of them making the playoffs. So lets wait a couple of weeks before we start pointing the finger at fans who thought it was all over.

I think they were joking or trying to make lemonade out of lemons. I doubt anyone on this board would root for a Broncos loss. About the only time i've seen the board get close to that was during the whole Plummer vs. Cutler saga where some rationalized that a Bronocos loss would be good for the team as it would get Jay under center.

I always boo when they suck, and i've never stopped being a bronco fan.

I also laugh at the morons that think it's somehow the fans fault (crowd noise) that the broncos aren't playing well at home

That's not it at all.

Denver used to be the place for the NFL's best home field advantage, and the leagues best fans.

Now its the place for a bunch of spoiled frontrunners.

You should actually post the full list.

I hate gutless fans. Those are the ones with the brand spanking new Rockies Jersey talking like they went to every game. They probably sold their Broncos tickets to Steelers fans to have the money to get it.

It is easy to root for a team when they are doing well.

It is when the team sucks or under-performs that seems to divide this board and fan-base.

I personally feel that if you are a decent fan then you support the team in good times and bad. It makes the good times so much more rewarding when you have suffered through the truly bad times. SB 32 (and before that the '77 season) was amazing as it was for people because of all the lean years...not games....YEARS that occurred before.

Other people may feel that if the product sucks then they don't want to buy it. Or any one of a number of excuses for why they feel it is ok to not support the team, out-right boo, or sell season tickets to other team fans.

Thats fine. Your choice...but by my reasoning that makes you a fair-weather, bandwagon, fan-boy fan.

If you can share in the Broncos success without sharing in their failure..what do you think that makes you?

we are an average 3-3 team.Being a homer does not give you any credibility to bash us who know we have issues in our team.Pointing out these issues makes you more of a fan than simply stating that we are going to win every week.

So being a homer means that you run around saying everything is perfectly fine all the time and that we will win every game...and saying doh now and then?

Pointing out all teh faults and saying you will lose is not being a fan. Saying we have these issues, but that team has these issues and this is how our team will abuse those issues.
