NAVY BEATS NOTRE DAME IN TRIPLE OT!!! Ha! Breaking a 43 year history of futility. Hilarious! They buy out Weiss' contract now. And look at the score: 46 to 44. Defense! Defense! I hate Notre Dame.

Congrats to the Middies. Not one of those players was even alive the last time Navy beat the Irish. Heck, most of their daddies were in diapers the last time Navy beat the Irish.
They said Charlie Weis would make history in South Bend. They were sure right about that. Think they'd like to have Ty Winningham back now?

I like how Weis said after the game that the streak means nothing to him. Of course when the Domers hadn't won a game yet this year, all their fans were saying all they wanted to do was keep the streak alive.

Before this game, Weis' 20-13 record through 33 games was exactly identical to Tyrone Willingham. They were both 0-3 versus USC. Willingham had a better record against ranked opponents at 7-8 compared to Weis' 4-8. Willingham was also 2-1 against Michigan, while Weis was 1-2.

Exactly! I doubt the players on this team are feeling great about being known as the Notre Dame squad that blew that streak. The Irish team in 1963 at least had an excuse, they were facing Roger Staubach.
I was amazed during the coin toss how much the Irish captains dwarfed over the Navy players in size.

This is not very surprising. Paul Johnson has done a great job at Navy, after having alot of success at Georgia Southern. He's a very good coach and he got them to a couple bowl games the last few years. ND sucks ass.
Congrats Big Guy, I know you enjoyed this.

try to watch the third overtime. navy scored on the first play with a long pass, made the 2 point conversion ... notre dame then went down the field to score, got its ass saved by the refs on the 2 point conversion with a bull**** pass intereference call and then thomas got tackled in the backfield on their second chance.
