View Full Version : Need some Serious OSKIE KARMA!!!

If we have any hope of salvaging the season it has to start tomorrow night. It doesn't have to be in terms of a win but it has to be in terms of output. The defense has to step up and shut down the run. The offense has to step up and score some points. If we lose this game 20-21 I'm fine with that so long as we show up and play with heart and passion.

Here's to some serious OSKIE KARMA!

1. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win.

2. Play for and make the breaks and when one comes your way - SCORE.

3. If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam.

4. Protect our kickers, our QB, our lead and our ball game.

5. Ball, OSKIE, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.

6. Press the kicking game. Here is where the breaks are made.

7. Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes. This is what we need to see this week. Bring it strong the entire game and make the fans love the effort if not the result!

Just went to Wally-World and saw a fellow Bronco fan. He asked if I was ready for tomorrow and I knew exactly what he was implying... YEP, I'M READY TO GET BACK ON THE WINNING TRACK, is how I responded!

GO BRONCOS!

I'm telling you, we don't have to win this game. Go out and play strong and the fans are right back in the game along with our Broncos.

The Steelers are not unbeatable. It will be tough but I have a feeling we're going to be generating a little more pressure on defense then in weeks past. I'm thinking 3 or 4 turnovers and our rookies along the DLine are going to make some serious noise tomorrow!

Three minutes

Either

Inch by inch

Now I can't do it for you.

I look around and I see these young faces
and I think

I made every wrong choice a middle age man could make.
I uh....
I pissed away all my money
believe it or not.
I chased off
anyone who has ever loved me.
And lately,
I can't even stand the face I see in the mirror.

You know when you get old in life
things get taken from you.
That's, that's part of life.
But,
you only learn that when you start losing stuff.
You find out that life is just a game of inches.
So is football.
Because in either game
life or football
the margin for error is so small.
I mean
one half step too late or to early
you don't quite make it.
One half second too slow or too fast
and you don't quite catch it.
The inches we need are everywhere around us.
They are in ever break of the game
every minute, every second.

On this team, we fight for that inch
On this team, we tear ourselves, and everyone around us
to pieces for that inch.
We CLAW with our finger nails for that inch.
Cause we know
when we add up all those inches
that's going to make the ****ing difference
between WINNING and LOSING
between LIVING and DYING.

I'll tell you this
in any fight
it is the guy who is willing to die
who is going to win that inch.
And I know
if I am going to have any life anymore
it is because, I am still willing to fight, and die for that inch
because that is what LIVING is.
The six inches in front of your face.

Now I can't make you do it.
You gotta look at the guy next to you.
Look into his eyes.
Now I think you are going to see a guy who will go that inch with you.

Looks like we're in for a beautiful game!!!

Only about an inch so far but it's barely 8 am as well. I think it's supposed to snow most of the day... Of course this goes both ways but I think we're going to see plenty of turnovers today! GO OSKIE SCORE.
