You're lying - I have not "defended ... every move". Not by a long shot. You're confused by the fact that attacking your political ideology does not mean support of its "opposite" - in fact, you and Bush are closer to each other ideologically than either of you are to me.

I suppose a person who can deny something as obvious as this also feels free to change the meaning of political terms at will, e.g., "liberal" now means "anti-democracy, pro-corporatocracy, apologist for plutocracy," etc.

I am anti-democratic in the sense that I opposed unlimited power by the majority, and in that, I'm in good company. That's why we live in a republic, not a democracy.

I'm a strong advocate of the free market, which to you, means I think corporations are above reproach, and that things like subsidies, tariffs, and so on, are just dandy. I do not agree. Another instance of your simplistic political views falling apart.

And I don't care if someone is incredibly wealthy - so long as they accrued that wealth via legitimate and legal means. Your fallback into the class warfare stuff is true to form for a lefty, but I find it tiresome.

In any case, these sorts of accusations coming from you are typical - whenever a leftist comes across a genuine liberal like myself, they go all apoplectic. The concept of maximal practical freedom and liberty in all acts and thoughts is a deeply vexing problem for their oversimplified and impractical philosophy, and they often lash out in response.
