I don't know if this will be moved or not, I really don't know what forum it belongs in. But does anyone know where most of the teams coming into Denver stay before games? I am hoping to track down AJ Hawk when the Pack roll into town in a few weeks, I won't be able to go to the game but I'm hoping Sunday I can catch AJ out and about and get him to sign a OSU jersey I have. I've had a few people tell me that different teams stay at different places and most are at the Westin or the Omni?? I think the Westin is downtown but I have never heard of the Omni. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think any of the teams stay downtown.
They don't all stay in one hotel though.
Westin I don't think does football teams.
I think I heard the Marriott does, but one hotel near DIA is where apparentally most of them stay.

I've heard of teams staying at both of the Hyatt hotels, the new one and also the one at DTC. OMNI is an affiliate of Doubletree and Hilton, I believe.....or used to be years ago.

Goodluck on the stalking!

No kidding, most of the time I'm at places where guys will be signing so it's not like I'm stalking someone, I hate paying for a autograph and don't really know how I would go about getting him to sign if he wasn't coming to Denver. I'm sure if he saw me running around wearing some Buckeye gear he would hook me up but I gotta get in that postion first.

FYI Most of the HOF Steel Curtain will be signing at the Westminster Mall the Sat before the Steelers game.

Get a Denver Broncos media guide. They usually have this information or the Green Bay Packers version will.

Really? OK I will for sure check it out then, I'm not sure if I want to spend $30 on a Pack guide though I doubt it would ship here in time anyway.

I just checked out the Broncos media guide online and no mention of hotels or where the other team stays.

check the packers media guide but i knowdenver now has it only on dvd (according to one pis.s.ed off Hogan). The Jets in 98 stayed at the rennaissance. I am staying there for the Packers game and asked about opposing teams and she said they only get the professional soccer teams at the hotel now.

You can view/download the broncos 2007 media guide in .pdf format here: http://www.denverbroncos.com/page.php?id=2118

I don't think the media guides have it. Most teams don't publish this type of info in fear of hecklers, prank phone calls by opposing fans and radio DJs, etc. Usually, a team has a routine of staying in the same hotel as last time. Unfortunately, it's been a few years since GB was in Denver so they may change spots - especially if they have a new travelling secretary. Good luck.

Yeah, I was hot over that....I got even hotter when I found out that they totally lied to me about this. I thought it was somewhat fishy that they'd only put out a DVD as a media guide. I found one the day I got home from Denver for the 2007 season, in book form, on eBay.

So watch those Broncos store employees, they don't know a goddamn thing.

Nah, I support team hotels. If the team wants to buy a hotel, that's fine by me.

The Packers site doesn't have their media guide online so 2 strikes on that idea. I doubt the hotels would give out this info if I called them.

Taxi cab drivers would know. Go to a Packers website forum to ask around there. You at least gonna be at the tailgate?

Since I work in Pueblo now, and I don't get off til 5 I'm not gonna have time to make it up to Denver for the game on Monday, but Sunday hopefully I can track down AJ.

Doesn't really help but opposing teams visiting SD stay at the Hyatt in La Jolla.

One thing you could do is call hotels asking for someone on the Packers. Don't be obvious, but pick a lesser known player who doesn't have a common name.
Some hotels are very prissy about autograph seekers. the Westin is the worse, they make you stand on the sidewalk and you can't cross onto their property.

If you see the Packers team bus moon it. Their Rheingold beer drinking, Bratwurst eating, blow the Port-a-Let out fans have been doing it for years.

If you want to meet the best Buckeye linebacker in the NFL. The Pats stay the night before Home games at the Sheraton Four Points in Norwood Mass. Where do the Broncos stay the night before Home games ?
