Honestly, I like a good competitive game. But the booth went on and on about Dallas. The game itself was pretty exciting (and crazy) with wild plays up until the end. However, I didn't need to see...

Endless closeups and commercials of Romo's homely face with that silly, crack addled grin.
Endless camera shots of T.O for no reason at all.
Endless pan shots of Jerry Jones and his sagging facelift.
meanwhile, the game went on.

While everyone tried REALLY hard to convince us how great Romo is, even when he sucks in a game. Tirico constantly said the Bills were "playing over their head". Nice cliche, dosen't mean anything. Apparently the Bills didn't get the memo they were supposed to be frightened at the sight of those big Dallas stars.

Tony KornBall wondered at the Bills being *gasp* COMPETITIVE! At least bobblehead doll #3 Jaws told him that THIS IS THE NFL AND ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.

WOW! That's the kind of commentary that keeps me on the edge of my seat!

Of course the Pokes haven't won a playoff game in like, 10 years. But why bother with facts when silly hype will do? I don't get the need to push Dallas so hard, either. Maybe the NFC freaks are desperate to cheer a team. ROFL!

The media should just stop talking about teams. You can't go 5 posts on a message board without someone bitching about people praising the teams that are good. I heard a whole lot of them praising Edwards as well...it wasn't that one sided.

Didn't you get the Memo ? The Cowboys are America's team.

You act like this was your first Monday night game ever. I have stopped watching it because of the announcers they have. It started with Maddens man love for Brett Favre and Manning. MNF sucks. If you must watch, use your mute feature on your remote.

The wild thing is, I never watched the game continuously. I'd cut in in spots. Either it was commercials or "Poke" promos.

And is this group the most annoying ever in a booth? They're almost tripping over each other for straight lines.

I'll second that. Jaws is the only one worth a crap.

Well they are good for an NFC team.. but you have question their soft schedule .

But they are not New England or Indy good, they are more like Cincinnati good.

Well, they are in the NFL and they are playing New England next week.

I don't think this holds up.

I hate the MNF crew, but I think that sentence pretty much invalidates your original complaint.

First time in history a team has scored 2 defensive TD's and a special team TD and lost.

Dallas has some of that nebulous "mojo" and the Broncs have the opposite of it (nojo?).

Of course a soft schedule helps. I mean, the Bills are so bad they only lost to the Broncos by 1. :oyvey:

Don't you know? People tuned in to watch Tony Romo. It must be true, the announcers said so.

And they're going to get a top five draft pick, too. Amazing.

Sometimes I wish that Bowlen was as hell fire bent on winning as Jerry Jones.

Not really, I just have endless animosity for all things Dallas. And the stinking Eagles, which come in a close second.

Romo = Barf City

It's no real surprise... Buffalo has no one to compare to the likes of the ultimate showman TO or the supposed sex appeal, girl swooning charm of Romo...ESPN depends upon marketable flavor clowns and panty wetters...it's their bread and butter.

Yeah. As much as I hate to admit it, the Cowboys are looking pretty good.

When a team doesnt quit on their QB after 6 turnovers, and then pulls off a win where they convert an onside kick by willing themselves to the ball, you know that you have a team that will be there at the end.

*breaks out in hives at thought of Dallas SuperBowl*

Cripes, has anyone seen Romo's team mug shot at NFL Players.com? He looks like some kind of deviant or serial attacker.
