I like Favre but not the Packers. Most people here dont care for them at all. But Sassy loves Bret bigtime.

I kinda like the Packers. Maybe feel differently if SB XXXII turned out differently - otherwise we as Bronco fans dont have much rivalry with them.
I think it has something to do with a gunslinger with a cannon for an arm rekindling fond memories for us?
I dunno - but I do find myself wishing Farve the best on this apparent swan song of his. I hated to think his career would end with him playing as poorly as he did the last 2 seasons. This is more fitting.

I don't mind the Packers, but I do mind brett favre. I've always noticed a lot of anti favre sentiment on here actually.

Packers are entertaining. More than I can say about the Broncs right now.
But I'm pissed at them for not warning us about Bates.

The old Packers were one of my favorite teams growing up. these days I can't admit to liking them because all of my in laws are Packer fans.

Packer fans here? All of us were about 10 years ago. Bitches...

Im with you know this. Id rather see Farve go out with his head held high playing the position at a high level. Not back to back Championship high, but get back to the playoffs and make a run high.

Why would you think that? Favre hung around long enough to break Elway's record. That alone makes me irritated with them.

If you like more than one team, you can't love any. It's the Broncos, then degrees of hate for everyone else.

If given a choice. I'd bet Favre would have taken the Lombardi from SB32 ;D

Brett Favre might make a run at 500 touchdown passes.

No prob with the Packers. Good fans. Good QB. Good history.
I hope we kick their ass, of course.

Favre is fun to watch. I found him to be my fav QB after Elway retired. I pull for the Pack when they dont play Denver.

I took a leak on the Packers logo once....though not as fulfilling as peeing on the Raiders one on the bus, it still felt real good.

I like Brett Farve, I like his effort and his enthusiasm. And Packer fans are like Bronco fans to my eyes. Loyal, often times suffering and still there. And since the Bronco's beat them in the Super Bowl I don't have the lifelong dislike of the Packers I have for the Cowboys and the Raiders.

I love football and enjoy watching other teams play, but the Packers are not one of them.

I totally agree. I don't think about stepping in front of a car when a team other than the Broncos lose.

I'll admit it.
I do enjoy watching the Packers because Donald Driver reminds me of a younger Rod Smith.
And in general I like watching any team that executes a Zone Blocking System like our own - mainly because other teams are just amateurish compared to the way our OL zone block!
But speaking of the pack, does anyone else find it very interesting that they're defense has come leaps and bounds since they got rid of Bates?

I am enjoying watching Brett Far-vra in the final years of his career, I hope he choses to go out while still playing at a pretty high level. But no.. I really don't like the Packers.

I like their uniforms.
The only good thing about them IMHO. You'll never see that team change to some arena league, cyborg- looking bullshat....the tradition is just too thick.

Nothing wrong with loving Brett unless he plays our team (then I want to crush him). But, hhe embodies the spirit of competition that is (or should be) football. He plays it like a kid, he plays with fire. Brett will still get out and try to block for his RB's, he will fight with DE's, and he will challenge his team. He has miles of heart, and deserves all his records.
Elway is still my favorite by far, but Brett is a symbol of what fans expect from the NFL.
I have a harder time liking Peyton (although his SNL performance showed a great sense of humor).

the team is ok..
but the fans really piss me off. IMO, they're right up there with Yankee/Cowby fans

Nope don't care for them. Rule number #1 in my house cheer for the Broncos. Rule number #2 cheer for the Bears. If Rules 1 and 2 get in a situation where they go against each other stick with Rule #1. But the most important rule is Rule #3 Cheer against the Cowboys at all costs! Damn Bills!

The few Packers fans I've seen have been very respectful and nice people. They got that going for them, which is nice...

I enjoy watching Favre compete. Fearless competitor, extremely motivated to excel and win. A healthy injection of what makes Favre "tick" is sorely needed amongst this years collection of talent at Dove valley..dman
*I continue to reserve the right to refer to the broncos as a collection of talent. They are not a team presently.

Broncos fan first, always will be a Packers fan second. Having my sister root for Green Bay and having my other family root for Denver was so hard during the Super Bowl. Admire the organizations and the players that were and are a part of them. First class all the way.

He'll cry again in week 12 and retire on national tv for the 2,000th time.
And then, like the Terminator he will be BOCK.
But I dig the way their helmets make their heads look like big bug lights.
