Yeah - the five we have now are incredible - no room for a 6th!
Not saying Peterson would change things, but at this point - are we in any position to be throwing out guys before seeing what they can do on gameday?

Rice was inactive against SD. supposedly not healthy.

Rice was inactive.
The only way Peterson was going to be here is if someone on the DL got injured. McKinley and Engleberger are better and ironically were the two best Denver DL on the field yesterday. Crowder held up OK.
Pet could play DT also... I thought he would stick just from the option of being a DE/DT.

I think Peterson has real potential, but what do I know? These coaches obviously have a stranglehold on D-Line personnel wisdom ... :oyvey:
We could waive Amon Gordon today, and nobody would pick him up ... yet he starts here.
We trade Warren (almost waive him), and now he's in a 3-DT rotation with 2 Pro-Bowlers.

We need the wisdom of one of the draftologists here for that one. Although I could have sworn we gave over our first round to someone for someone. Or something like that. I hope there's still a bit of life left in the team and we aren't really playing for draft choices.

We gave up our third rounder, but we have extra picks on day 2. Our first and second rounders are still safe (so far). Remember, we got Dumervil and Marshall in the fourth round a couple years ago - that ain't too shabby!

Well, if it's Dorsey they're making a big mistake. He's about as far from a Bates style DT as you could get.

Rice is horrible when he's IN the game. He can't shed blocks and makes me think that his time is up...

Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!
