No, no, and no! Stupid question - no offense - but that's just a plain stuid ass question. Maybe we should trade Champ while we're at it. Just plain retarded.

Nah. At 2-3 there is still hope. Stranger things have happened in the NFL and we arent out of it yet no matter how bad it looks right now. Plus, it would be hypocritical for me to get on the team for not trying on the field and yet want them to tank the season.

I would love to see Dorsey from LSU in a broncos uniform.. he would make a huge difference

You are not bad enough to get the #1 pick. And you're certainly not going to throw games to get it.

St. Louis is probably the worst team out there. You are WAY better than the Rams.

could someone get me a list of 2008 NFL free agents???

Hell no! A high draft pick does not guarantee you a good NFL Player. I will never hope for the Broncos to lose.

You sir are in the top 5 dumb douchebag posters. Celebrating an injury yesterday and now hoping to lose the rest of our games 5 games in? Moron.

No. I hope we get into the playoffs.

With this team? What just so we can be dismantled by the Colts or the Patriots?

Why do you people want to see a Bronco team stumble and bumble its way into the Playoffs... Screw that I hope we lose alot more so we can get some much needed changes here (um coaching staff) and a Top 5 pick.

If you watch the Broncos play, you may not have to wish for anything. This team is really bad.

Miami will probably get the #1 pick... them or the Falcons. It would be impossible for the Saints or Rams too get it... they have too much talent to stay underachieving like they are.

No. I never hope for a loss.

Even so, this season we'll see a bunch of them, I fear.

Hell no! There is no way I'm conceding the division to the Chargers, Chiefs or Raiders.

Can the mods please step up and either ban these obvious trolls or at least send these trolling threads to the butt?

IMHO If Denver were ever fortunate to obtain a top 10 pick Shanahan would use it to trade for future picks.

Dorsey is almost the exact same player as Gerrard Warren, how exactly does that make sense? Frank Okam is a much better suited DT for Bates' system... or are you saying we should get rid of Bates as well?

Not to totally hijack your thread, but I think it's important to find pieces that fit both Bates' and Shanny's systems. Firing either of those guys only sets the team back and we'll have to go through the same growing pains next year. I'll sit here and bi*ch and complain about the coaching staff all day long, but I do realize that starting over with a new DC or HC at this point just extends the suffering.

I would get rid of Bates first. Nodoubtaboutit.

No.

1. I don't think it would be best for cutler's development

2. We have to beat the Raiders

3. I just can't hope for a loss in any one particular game: "Oh darn, the Broncos won!" That feels weird to even type.

That said...

The thought has crossed my mind.

How's the top five overall '08 picks looking?

A top ten pick is ok with me, getting it by virtue of W-L ratio is not ok with me. You have to battle on the field, you have to compete to keep them close at least. You can't win 'em all, but you sure compete like a crazy man on every play. Even if you're way behind on the scoreboard or in the standings, you sure try to beat the guy in front of you on every play just for pride. If you have 50 men that do that, you'll be in every game. If you have 20 men that decide they can't win no matter how hard they compete, then you have a hard time staying in games. I'll always remember Trevor Pryce after the AFCCG at Mile High in 2005 said "I knew as soon as I walked on the field we were gonna lose." If you have too many "men" on your team that think like that, then you're gonna lose. I think you have to decide that you're gonna have the best game of your life every week, you have to say to yourself "I'm gonna have a real good time today. I'm gonna whoop that guy's ass in front of me today." If it so happens that guy whoops your ass a couple times right away, that's not a big deal. You don't make it easy for him the rest of the game. You still keep planning on kicking his ass til the final whistle. It's known as being a competitor. You don't worry about the other guy kicking your ass, you focus on making him worry about you kicking his ass.

Denver, I don't know what the deal is. I've seen since preseason too many guys not shedding blocks, not fighting through blocks, not sustaining blocks, letting guys fight through blocks.

I think if the ST's could provide a spark that would be a huge deal. I think some consistenly good returns could light a fire. The team sure needs some fire.

Ok, rant over. I started with one sentence, and then busted loose. Carry on . . . .

Judging from his performance this weekend against LSU, I wouldn't go breaking the bank to get Dorsey. The guy was a non-factor in a highly competitive game.

We're five games into the season. We've won two of those games.

There isn't any need to sugarcoat things, but this kind of stuff is beyond stupid.

Seriously, man, I have to agree with Dag on this one. You are either having a tough couple of days, or you are competing to be the biggest imbecile on the OrangeMane. Not only did you cheer what looked like a really, really bad injury to Trent Green yesterday, you responded to criticism of your comment with even more stupidity. And this was before it had been announced that Green just had a concussion - right when they're taking him out, completely unconscious, on a gurney. He could have been dying or paralyzed, for all anyone knew.

Then this stupidity. By itself, I might think it's just another fan who is frustrated. Combined with that idiocy yesterday, I have to wonder if you're maybe just a dumb, bad guy.
