Not with the Steelers coming to town. Less than a couple thousand. It's going to be a record breaker for terrible towels.

Just called the Broncos to see what # I am on the season ticket holder waiting list. 2,177....I think I may end up with season tix next year. A couple years ago it seems I was about 10k back but I can't say for sure.

I told the gal at the ticket office that they better start paying to who their fans really are because the corporate crowd is going to go away first.

What # are you guys? It will be interesting to bump this thread a year from now and see who gets in. I bet the season tix holder wait list shifts by more than 5k. EASY.

Sunday Night Football.....Steelers in town. There won't be that many no-shows.

Steelers fans are notorious for travelling well and they will grab up any available tix for top $.

The Steelers were absolutely horrible last season and the Broncos barely eeked out a win against them. They are clearly back on a roll this season....

Realistically, his could be the first time in a long time that the Broncos are double digit underdogs at home. And I'm still waiting for someone to list when the last time was that the Broncos won a game where they were more than a 3 pt dog (aside from SB 32).

I'll bet there will be an eqaul amount of Steeler fans and Broncos...scary.

Being so "close" to the Steelers, I hate them at times (mostly the fans) but I respect the way they handle that franchise.

gimme a fvvvkkking break.

yeah, there are more bandwagon spoiled baby bronco fans than ever, and yeah, the steelers travel well....

....and there are still ALOT of us here that go every week (and some that even stay till the last play) and cheer our asses off.
there will still be 7:1 broncos fans to steelers fans, and thats a BAD ratio for us.

No matter how bad the team performs I can honestly say that I am excited to see how Cutler further develops this year. If a Plummer or Griese was quarterbacking this team I might be pretty down right now.

Also a good game for a serious beating at home.

I was hoping the loss would seriously bring down the ticket prices on e-bay craigslist, and brokers, for the G.B. game but no such luck. Some creep on e-bay wanted $2000 buy it now for 2 tickets section 118 row 9.

I'd like to report him to the Broncos president of ticket operations, and let a real fan get those tix.

I have checked the "buy from season holder", nothing has come up for the G.B. game yet. I usually try to get lowers when I bring the kid, kind of doubt I'll see many between now and then.

Only about 6 more years left on my season tickets according to the ticket offices.:yayaya:

Oh ya, my guess is 1627.....

I love that people who don't go to the games on this board always have such in-depth knowledge about the composition of the crowd. No matter how bad it gets this season, the only way they'll come anywhere near 10k in no-shows for a game is if the weather is absolutely terrible and people either can't make it (snow) or don't want to sit through it (cold and rainy).

prior to the 2005 season, I was asked if I wanted to move. Seemed there were a lot of unhappy fans after the 2nd Colts debacle.

Pitt is a tough matchup struggling or not. I'd just like to see us come out with a purpose and not laugh and joke like we are playing in a school yard. At this point I'd stand up and cheer if we made them punt twice in a half.

First, I just put my name in for season tickets this year.
Second, the number of Steeler fans that will be present will be scary. I expect WORSE than the AFC Championship game.
It may turn out to be a road game for the Broncos if things go like they have been the past couple of weeks :(

Hopefully quite a few. If the Broncos are indeed in for a rough season, I want all the fair-weather a$$hats to jump ship. That way, perhaps Mile High will return to its hardcore, blue collar roots. Maybe Bowlen will realize that the fans have always given the Broncos a huge advantage at home and how important it is. Where has our homefield advantage gone? I'd say its sitting in its $300 seat, sipping wine and eating cheese, completely unaware of the score or that when it does choose to make some noise, don't do it when the offense is out on the field.

if ANYONE is looking to sell tickets, please DO NOT sell them to Steeler fans, there were too many at the AFC Championship, and regardless of how we are playing this is still BRONCOS country, not the Steel City

When I called, they told me they couldn't give me an exact# over the phone. I would have to write a letter, and they would send my# via a letter in the mail???

While I would never wish on a bad season for the Broncos, a losing season would give us a better position in the draft, and move me hopefully several thousand closer to being a PERMANANT season ticket holder (which I will pass on to my son)

My guess is there will be less than 1000 no shows....although there will be at least 8000 Steler (intended) fans there.

538 No shows....and if we are behind by more than 14, 20000 empty seats at the end of the third quarter.

This team is going to have to earn back the fan loyalty they expect at home games.

Last time i remember 10k no shows was in 94 (i believe) against the Saints. We started 0 and 4 that year and came back to 7 and 8 and trying to be one of the first teams to go 0 and 4 and be at least .500 team. It was Christmas Eve and there were 10k no shows. Everyone booed when they announced the figures. I laughed because it was my first game in Mile High and I called my buddy back in OC where they annouced the Rams last home game ever in OC at 33k! Broncos totally out of the playoffs playing another bad team and there were 66k in the stands. Now Alec, you really think 10k no shows for the Steelers? I say 1015 no shows. THere were a lot of no shows for the Raiders game IMO. We are worse now.

This is beginning to be how i got my season tickets. After the 94 season, I signed up and watche dthe Rockies fans flood the gate and the Avs winning the Cup. People had enough of the Broncos and put their money on the new teams. I waited no more than 6 months. With Rockies doing well and Avs probably going to have a better team than last year, you can see a possible move up. The 500 level in the nose bleed sections will have to realize they can get the tickets cheaper at a website like ebay, stubhub, craiglist, etc to know to give up the season seats. Those are the bandwagon you need to leave Mile High/Invesco.
