Well isn't this nickname a year-to-year thing?
I mean, I remember Denver being "Title Town" when the Broncos and Avs won it in the same year.

Yeah they were calling Boston that when the Pats and Sox won it. It's just something they float around depending on what a city does.

Avs in '96, Broncos in '97 & '98 and Avs in '01. Also, the Broncos should/could have won in '96 and the Avs should/could have won in '97, '99, '00 and '02.
It was a great time to be a sports fan in Colorado then, even though the Rockies and Nuggets were usually terrible in those years.

The Rockies have no chance - and I mean NO CHANCE! - of beating Arizona. They've been nothing but lucky to get this far. I would be shocked - SHOCKED! - if they won a single game in this series. Next year, it's back to 65-win territory.

Everyone has an opinion. WAY TOO MUCH TRAFFIC in Denver...dman
*Ridiculous amount of going to/from work traffic. Poor planning road wise to accomodate suburbia placement/expansion. There are better out there for sure wrt traffic, cost of living at the minumum..
*Still enjoy the rox, broncos and Av's though. the nuggets? Naw, not so much.
