I grew up in Glenwood Springs and moved back out to So Cal about 5 years ago. I am coming out to the Pitt game in two weeks and I have not been downtown Denver in so long. My fiance and I fly in Sat and leave Tuesday. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to have a good time? Downtown places to go and buy Broncos stuff? Oh, I forgot to mention that it is also my first time to Invesco.
Thanks

Just start at blake and park avenue and work your way south.

Just chill around LoDo, you will find plenty of things to do. There is always the Vet's bar. LOL

What is LoDo, Vets Bar?

I think we are staying downtown either at the Embassy, Magnolia, or Teatro.

You can take the trolley down the 16th St. Mall...Coors field is within walking distance. There are a lot of restaurants including the Cheesecake factory and the ESPN Zone on 16th...There are also a lot of shops selling Bronco Gear...but check out the team store first! I still think they have the most variety.

Solid advice in this post.

Not sure on that...we weren't in there the night before the game...but we walked in there one night that weekend and it was packed! (No place to sit) So we actually left and went somewhere else. But there are Bronco Fans EVERYWHERE...of course... "It's Broncos' Country" ;D

Even Fort Collins (50 miles N of Denver) has a bunch of steeler fans and a number of steeler bars. They all seem to have an attitude because they aren't actually 'in' Denver. Broncos Country has county lines or zip codes, the fools just don't know.
