To draft a guy you need to be in position to do so. I guess you rather go 4-12 then have the opportunity to compete for playoff spot

This is the guy you should have drafted. He would be a monster in Denver:

Instead you drafted a ****-for-brains LB.

Derrick Johnson basically won the game for the Chiefs last week. Why don't you pull your head out of your ass.

You are hilarious. I've never witnessed someone with such a constant stream of bullsh*t, but as soon as someone f*cks with you, you get all huffy. Such a puss.

i **** bricks when we passed on Stephen Jackson. Never could figger that one out. Oh well....I guess it turned out for the best? Wonder if it would have made a difference in the AFC conference championship game with Peetsberg.

I watched the replay of his INT, I give him credit for making the play but it was a gift. It was a tipped ball that bounced right into his hands. Give him credit because the good ones make the catch and the bad ones don't, but that was just a lucky grab.
I think Derrick is a good linebacker, but the INT was pure luck. HAving said that, I'lll take luck anyday in the game of football.

I realize that. But the point is we take chances on scrubs rather chances on getting high quaility backs.

...and we would be crying about the DE situation again because we wouldn't have been able to draft any of the ones we did if we moved up to grab AP.

I'm just saying that the analogy has to fit for it to make sense. Steven Jackson would have fit perfectly.

Adrian Peterson went seventh overall. Even if we wanted to waste our pick on him, how were we supposed to do that? Okoye or Willis look like the guys we should have got over freaking AD.

It wasn't just his interception. It was his sack and forced fumble later in the game.
As I recall, AP went high in the draft and we picked late middlish. I don't see how it is that we should have picked him. We couldn't, unless you wanted to give up the rest of our draft basically. No thanks.
I wish the FO would have signed Jamal Lewis or traded for McGahee...
Hell I wish we would have kept out 03 first rounder drafted Marlin Jackson and then draft Frank Gore in round two.

Posluszny would have fit in nicely.

I don't disagree with the guy, but he would have cost a s&itload to get, I'm thinking #7 overall is where he was selected.

Thanks bob, WTF does Derrick Johnson has to do with this? Bah, why bother...
You might want to ask your fellow Bronco fans. They are the ones who brought up Derrick Johnson, not me.

I thought DJ was a hellacious player at Texas. Rather disappointed the Broncos didn't move up & select him. Oh well.

Well, AD is looking like the Offensive ROY this season.
He also looks like one of those special players that come along every once in a while.
