I guess since I wasn't invited, I'll just "exit stage left".
In three parts, Zeitgeist (which has no credits) attempts to show that 1) Christianity is rehashed pagan sun-worship and is used by the rich and powerful to control people, 2) the 9/11 tragedies were part of an elite conspiracy, and 3) ever since World War I, the ultra-rich have been secretly manufacturing wars and financial collapses to control the populace and to get richer and more powerful.
Uh-hunh.
Right up there with the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", methinks.
But I wasn't invited, so I guess my opinion doesn't count fer ****.

Depends on what you mean by "help".
One of your problems is that your thought process is something like:
coincidence -> correlation -> causation

I don't mean to defend this theory, because I am not sold on it, but I have to say that the idea that these matches are all coincidence gives me a sort of incredulous smile. The least we can do is agree that the abundance of matching symbolism means something, whether we all disagree what that "something" is or not.

Symbolism and allegory can be so subjective that you could draw meaning and correlation out of nearly every event in the history of the universe.
Now, whether or not you find synchronicity and correlation in every detail is what separates the schizophrenics from the rest of us.

The video describes specific correlations. There was nothing subjective about it. Rather than spinning into oblivion, it might be worthwhile to engage in the actual subject matter.

Some of it. The religious stuff was interesting, but the Truther part
and the One World Order part seemed like a lot of putting 2 and 2
together and getting 37 so I skipped over a lot of that. When then
brings into question how reliable the religious stuff in the first part
was. I think I am going to go do some research on Horus.

This is actually a popular discussion among theology types. It doesn't get much traction past the academic level though.

The connections between those characters and the historical figure of Jesus are sketchy at best.
We dont even know who these people are and you are referencing them in the same breath as "academics"? You also say that "thelogians" are active in research in this subject, and you are grossly misrepresenting the nature of that debate. First off, "theologians" deal with the nature of God, and his relation to man, not the historicity of the account of Jesus Christ. The historicity of Jesus and the gospels are well documented. The only people clinging to that thin thread are shock-value academics who have basically been marginalized by any respectable biblical historian.

Actually,
If anyone wants a really really really good book on theology of all types check out:
The secret teachings of All Ages - By Manly P. Hall (http://www.amazon.com/Secret-Teachings-All-Ages-Encyclopedic/dp/0893145483)
(For Who Manly P Hall is and why i like his work):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manly_P._Hall
Manly Palmer Hall (March 18, 1901 - August 29, 1990) was a Canadian-born author and mystic. He is perhaps most famous for his work The Secret Teachings of All Ages: An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy, which is widely regarded as his magnum opus, published in 1928[1][2]when he was just 27 years old.
He has been widely recognized as a leading scholar in the fields of religion, mythology, mysticism, and the occult.
Carl Jung, when writing Psychology and Alchemy, borrowed material from Hall's private collection.
In 1934, Hall founded the Philosophical Research Society (PRS) in Los Angeles, California, dedicating it to an idealistic approach to the solution of human problems. The PRS claims to be non-sectarian and entirely free from educational, political, or ecclesiastical control, and the Society's programs stress the need for the integration of philosophy, religion, and science into one system of instruction. The PRS Library, a public facility devoted to source materials in obscure fields, has many rare and scarce items now impossible to obtain elsewhere.
In 1973 (47 years after writing The Secret Teachings of All Ages), Hall was recognized as a 33º Mason (the highest honor conferred by the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite), at a ceremony held at PRS on December 8th,[3][4]), despite never being initiated into the physical craft.[5]
In his over 70-year career, Hall delivered approximately 8,000 lectures in the United States and abroad, authored over 150 books and essays, and wrote countless magazine articles.

Ah, back to ad hominem because you can't find a way to argue your way out of it. Isn't this what you often accuse LABF of, yet you do the same things. So why not answer the question? It appears the problem isn't with me, but your own lack of endowments.

The part where they claim a Jesus never existed and the myth of
Jesus was based on the myth of Egyptian sun god Horus was interesting.
Also the sort of fascinating was how the myth of Jesus was so heavily
bound up in astrology. For example, the end of the world is a mistranslation,
and is instead related to the precession of the earth's axis in relation
to the constellations. The age of Jesus relates to the constellation
Pisces, and at the end of the age we enter the age of Aquarius.
Apparently because the myth of Jesus is so heavily bound up
in the constellation Pisces, this is why we see all those fish symbols
on automobiles. I guess when we enter the age of Aquarius these
will be replaced by buckets or something like that.
The 2nd part was just a bunch of Truther nonsense, so I skipped
over a lot of that, as the third part about the One World Order.
