View Full Version : Complete Utter Lack of Discipline

That's all I see every play on defense. Honestly...and this might sound stupid to some, but these guys can't even tuck in their shirt tails. If you are going to be a professional you need to dress the part. It starts with the little things and then the big things will take care of themselves.

If by tuck in shirt tails you mean make a proper form tackle then, I'm right there with you.

It's a mindset. It's a sign of discipline. If they cared about their appearance, chances are they care about their tackles.

LOL..it would appear that way at times, but these guys are trying. It's the QB on defense...he's green

You're talking about Moss right?

Doesn't the league have dress Nazi's still patrolling the sidelines? If they still exist, then they'll get fined....hitting them in the pocketbook always takes care of the little things very effectively.

Good to have you on the shirt tucking detail GB. This team would be lost without your help. Keep up the good work!

I have to agree, If the little things can not be done... How can you expect them to do the big things. Atleast that how it works in the business world.

I saw a Bronco lineman with unsightly long nose hairs. Perhaps a letter to Goodell is in order. Ohhh the horror!

Exactly. It starts at the foundation and goes from there.

Awesome! When I typed in www.orangemane.com (http://www.orangemane.com) this morning I was hoping someone would've started the gayest thread ever.

Thanks Garcia!

Complete utter lack of talent would be far more fitting. Worst defense Denver has had for years. Worst linebacking crew ever in Orange and Blue.

You really need to work on your people skills. That's why nobody likes you.

These guys can do the work. They just aren't disciplined in their approach

I wish you were right Garcia but I just dont see it. For starters I dont see any of the current DT's being in Denver next year apart from Thomas. They're all terrible. He has an excuse because he basically missed a whole season in college and no-one expected him to be ready this year.

You get what you pay for and at present the only DT Denver have earning over $1m a year is McKinley. The rest are scrub players on basic contracts who get pancaked on a regular basis.

I just dont like the linebackers at all. Move DJ to his proper position and we are instantly better. IMHO he'll never make a decent MLB in this league. Gold's a complete turd and Webster's average at best and when he's played in the middle he's been worse than DJ.

Discipline's all fine and well but when your DT's get pushed around like ragdolls tucking their shirts in isn't going to help a whole lot.

I'll give you a call when the care police show up. Still don't hear any sirens.

If you don't have anything nice to say...just don't say anything at all. But I can tell by your response that what I said was true. You are just a little rough around the edges. It's totally something you can work on. I believe in you. And whatever problems you are having...if you need someone to talk to...I would be glad to help.

I just don't believe it, these guys all have the ability. They are getting to the punch in a lot of cases, but they aren't using sound technique to finish the job. Basic stuff too. The aren't wrapping up. They aren't using their hands properly to engage and dis-engage offensive players. This is fixable stuff. Not all of it, but definately some of it.

My deepest and sincerest apologies to you for commenting on your comparison of effort/assignments and tucked in jerseys. You, sir, are an innovator.

Please keep me updated on your findings on the relationship of grass stained socks to athletic ability and passion.

How would that make them better? They'd have no MLB in a defense that requires a good MLB and (as you yourself admit) they'd still have an average at best SLB in Webster that cannot be moved to the middle....

Maybe I wasn't too clear there. I obviously mean next season and go out and either draft a MLB or sign/trade for one.
