Friday was a big day in my family.

My Father fell breaking his wrist and Leg at the ankle. He is home but on bed rest.

Friday afternoon my wife had a check up for her Preganacy. At 31 1/2 weeks during her 1st she developed Preclampsia(sp?). We had Abby at 32 weeks. She is a healty 4 1/2 year old now. We showed up at the Dr's and her blood pressure was high again. We were in same room as last time her BP spiked with Abby.

The Dr sent us to the Hospital and she spent 2 nights coming home just in time to watch the RCA Dome janitor run through the Denver D. By that point I was just happy to have everyone home and watch the Broncos hang tight for a 1/2.

So anyway Karen is home, but on bed rest for the duration. I had to shop and cook today as well as clean up. I have a great support center with my family but I have to step it and cannot blame work for slacking around the house for next month or 2.

So some good news: Also last Friday, my brother (who has about 10 posts to his 80smith account here cause he is a wuss and afraid to post here as he thinks you guys bite) had their 2nd Baby Mattie. She went full term.
Some Bad News: Last I heard they had to put her in the NICU for some congestion and low White Cell count. Please remember her in your thoughts.

I have to cancel my yearly Denver trip so I will not be able to make the SD Game next weekend. Bring me home a win! It is actually a good thing because I am on Antibiotics for a bad Chest cold and feel like the Denver D looks. My streak is broken at 12 years running to see a Game in Denver. I hope to make the Chicago game in Nov should all go well.

When you reflect on things/pray/perform a Blood offering at your stone altar please think of:

My Brothers Daughter

My wife and baby

My Dad

And my mother and family in general

I know that is is alot but life happens.

You take care buddy, sorry that you won't be able to hit up Denver this year but you have far more important things going on, hell I live here and am having major issues about being able to get to the stadium. My thoughts are with you and yours, I know things will work out. Drop me a line anytime.

I was looking forward more to the tailgates than the actual game. Maybe next year Karen, Abby, baby and I can all make it out to start a new streak!

I should convince my bro to take his family of 4 out also!

Funny how stuff like this makes you greatful for the little things.

So we had a Dr appointment this AM and Karen is back in Hospital.

I am soooo confused right now I feel like a True Weakside LB who is starting at MLB for the 1st time in his Career.

At this point I am more stressed about caring for Abby as I want her to be part of the process but have to juggle work and daycare. I could send her off to inlaws for a week but we would miss her too much.

At least they are watching both mom and Baby close and no one is in real danger. Plus the fact that we are beyond most premie milestones is a very good thing.

All in all we are getting great care and support from the family. Just had to vent.

All the best to you and yours, you are all in my thoughts.

P.S. Let me know if there is anything I can actually do to help, even small things like sending you a copy of a game in case your responsibilities force you to miss your recreational time.

So Karen has been home on Bed Rest for a few days.

Glad I didn't get to go to the SD Game after all. I ended up utilizing the 2nd half for a trip to Walmart with the Daughter. My time is too precious now to watch that product, Karen said the Network tuned out to another game anyway.

In Wait mode could be any day or 6-7 more weeks of bed rest.
