in reverse order:

Ugly:

-Shanahan's opening drive script. OK, unless I missed our first drive - MS called an actual double reverse.....that went for 3 yards. HELLO THREE AND OUT.

-Denver can't stop the run. There are several reasons, but I'm leaving this one alone. Eventually we will stop the run, but it may take this whole season to figure it out. Meanwhile.....we just have to score enough points early to force them out of their running attack (like the good ole Robinson c-ruise-oh days)

-Hixon. You can't dress up a pig. He is an oinker.

Bad:

-luck......Young fumbled the ball fighting for more yards. A rookie mistake....but horrible timing.

-4th and 5 from your own 3 with over 4 minutes left. Brilliant playcall if it works to Graham.....but you just showed your defense that you don't trust them.

-special teams.

Good:

Cutler kept us close w/o a running game, and with the defense out on the field nearly all day. Not an easy task.

Marshall. What's not to like?

Young. Sorry, I can't get over how this kid reminds me of someone. Yes the fumble was bad.....but all rbs sometimes fumble. Portis gave their game away today, but I'd still take him back in a NY minute (as long as we could keep Champ). I can't wait to see how our offense looks in about 4 weeks.

Yes, very good game, that guy is a player. I think you should move our special teams to UGLY because that is what they were. I think they are the #1 weak link on the Broncos right now followed by run defense.

The double reverse didn't cause the 3 and out, the illegal shift on the long pass to Graham and then Marshall subsequently dropping a catchable ball on 3rd down caused the 3 and out. The 1st down playcall was dumb, but Denver shot themselves in the foot twice in that series when they should have had 1st downs on either play.

I didnt like the double reverse playcall for the 1st play of the game, actually I didnt think we gained anything off it. Then Nate Jackson getting called on the illegal shift was huge, because Jay completed a nice pass to Graham that would of set us up for potential points. For awhile there the O was going backwards more than forward, which wasnt a good sign early in the game.
