Why is that guys like that struggle in Denver, leave, and play well elsewhere?

Is Shanahan making guys like too comfortable? You always hear vets talk about what a good organization Denver is. Perhaps we are cottling them too much.

Is it possible that Shanny should make players more on edge like Belichik (SP?)? It seems these guys get paid and they just tank.

Just a thought. I hate seeing a guy like Pryce leave and thrive, but he didn't do jack his final few seasons as a Bronco. We could use a guy with his talent right now. We didn't seem to get as much production out of him as Baltimore did.

I watched Gerard Warren lots today ... he pushed the pocket like nobody's business, and his play today was clearly superior to any DT play we've had thru all 7 pre-and reg season games this year. That said, we all know he's only playing that well because he's NEW there. He had an excellent 2005 when he was NEW here. If he were still here, he'd be the same lazy Gerard who refuses to heed his 2-gap responsibilities, and refuses to take any interest in mentoring his three rookie Gator homeboys.

So ... just because he's playing well THERE now does not mean he would be playing well HERE now.

The point (as I told you) is ... We couldda had Kris Jenkins. But we blew it.

Funny just a couple of days ago there were discussions on the board of how Shanny is able to get the most out of the talent he has...with few exceptions players always get worse after they leave. The ones that perform well after they leave also performed well here, or had incredible supporting cast elsewhere (hi there Pryce).
