View Full Version : So, The Jags Are Staying At The Hyatt @ The Tech Center

My mom was in Denver for an accounting conference. Anyways, the conference was at the Hyatt @ the Tech Center, and the Jaguars are currently staying there. Small sidenote, Muhammad Ali is also there, on the 11th floor.
ANYWAYS, any of you nuts want to go cause a ruckus, or send up 10 gallons of salsa to David Garrard, go for it.
And if anybody is reading this to send it to an officer of the law, this is all in good fun, and purely hypothetical.

I have heard the police don't take too kindly to people trying to gain an edge by staying outside a teams hotel and blaring heavy metal music.
The Hyatt is where most teams stay when they play the Broncos. The Hyatt staff cracks me up because they usually decorate the lobby with some sort of Broncos gear just for the opposition.

I didn't know that most teams stayed there. But then again, I never really thought of it. Interesting stuff.

I think some pilot friends out at the airport who own some particularly loud a/c need to practice some formation flying at low levels over a certain hotel. The Tech Center is right next to Centennial so they have every excuse to be at a lower level.

Makes me remember the times I used to collect autographs for baseball and would wait outside the teams hotel in Denver(Westin or the Embassy). Westin were pricks and wouldn't let you cross their driveway, even if a player motioned for you to cross.
Anyways, I remember trying to find where the Redskins stayed when Champ was with them. He has been my favorite player since he's been drafted and I wanted to meet him, get an authentic jersey signed and get my picture taken with him. Never could figure out which one they stayed at though.

Hack into the cable system and play a reel of Jay Cutler to Javon walker for 70 yards and then Travis Henry destroying a defense. Could be fun!

Hey, the new Hyatt (well was new) is very nice. We stayed there when we came out for the playoff games against the Patsies. They'd only been open two days. But they had awesome wide screen flat panel TV's in EVERY room! 'Twas nice! Then they jacked the price and I thought, ehhh, NO!
Ok, back to your 'distracting' comments!

It would be a crying shame if say... OF1 had a flat tire in front of said establishment while at the same time.... experiencing a catastrophic freak wiring problem that had the audio system belching loud external rumblings....without a way to shut it off.
...that would be just horrible...

Just thinking the same type of thing. Meck should stop by, pick up the team and drop them off on E. Colfax at around 11 tonight!

Most of the opposing teams stay at the Hyatt, I believe Disco was at the Hyatt a year or so ago when the Chiefs where in town.

I would like the idea of changing the clocks and everything an hour back, so they all get to the stadium an hour late. Get to it, guys!
Also, how about buying some Jaguars drinks? I remember when the GIants were in town(SF), this bartender got Bonds HAMMERED so the next day he played like ****.

The Chefs were there two years ago when I was staying there. It hasn't smelled the same since. BTW, King Carl sat next to me in the lobby. I wanted to tell him what a great job he was doing but I didn't think I could keep a straight face.
