Seems like a real good kid and he's doing a great job on the inside of our line. Real glad we have him, though he's broken the O-line's sacred code of anonymity and, in the process, mentioned you (as "dad") on air, which will now launch you into the upper echelons of superstardom along with J-Lo, Paris, Michael Jackson, Prince William, Madonna and Andy Richter (?).

get that O line together and play some annie oakley (1st person in line shoots at first clay target and if he misses the 2nd can bump him out by making the shot - last one left wins). Always a fun game!

I shall rise to the legal defense of young Christopher! Commissioner Goodell instituted a new rule - EVERY PLAYER must make themselves avaliable to the media now. According to Saccomano, it's post-game and one other day of the week.
If nothing else, this new rule gave us one of the best Bronco player articles in years on Tom Nalen ... (click here) (http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=59853). I still crack up that he wears Matt Lepsis's old shoes - he knows they're clean because Matt's "very metrosexual." :~ohyah!:
Say Mr. Myers ... does Chris work much on his long-snapping? Left-handed pitchers and long-snappers have long careers. The Broncos LS in the Super Bowl years was David Diaz-Infante, just a so-so guard, but an excellent LS. He retired in like 2000, but they brought him outta retirement a couple years later just to LS. Chris has 6 years on Leach, LS might extend his career down the road.

Didn't retire, just came to Vegas and played the XFL.

Meyer's sort of gets pushed around a bit. I have to admit im worried about those 2 big Jag DT Stroud and Henderson. Meyers, Nalen, Holland will have their work cut out for them this week.

He had his struggles last game but played well in Buffalo. It's a process and over time he'll get better. Also don't forget his natural position is at center, not guard, and I think that is an area where he could take over once Nalen hangs his hat up.

He practices on his long snaps as much as they let him. He had been long snapping since high school but not often in college at all.

I would say Chris had a few struggles last week against Sapp and Warren but overall he did a good job for Jay. He pulled a few times for some key runs which was great to see it reminded me of when he used to pull and block for MacGahee. I miss seing him do that.

I gotta admit, I think our OL is doing a pretty solid job blocking this year. Maybe its just that I have more confidence in Jay throwing than I did Jake throwing.
Myers has done pretty well IMO. I do wish to see more sweeps, I think the Broncos can be very successful on those plays.

May have to worry about one less of them:
Jaguars defensive tackle John Henderson missed his third consecutive practice Friday and was listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos at Invesco Field at Mile High.
Henderson, a two-time Pro Bowl player who has not missed a game in his six-year career, suffered a concussion last week against Atlanta. He returned to the game later, then had to be helped to the locker room with what team officials called "heat-related issues."
If Henderson does not play, backup Rob Meier likely will start alongside Marcus Stroud.
The Jaguars have been banged up along the defensive line in recent weeks, with Stroud (ankle) and ends Paul Spicer (back) and Reggie Hayward (Achilles tendon) still recovering from injuries.

I wish I was in town for this weeks game. My wife was there last week but Chris had a visitor flying into town this week so I thought it was best to let them have the weekend.

I think we need Dad over at the MH Lot (Mecks) next time he is in town. Getting "guest" for the tailgate is the next progression in the ultimate tailgate. Gradishar stopped by last year but we need them to actually tailgate with the crew. Mr. Myers, you let me know if you plan on coming to SD for XMAS Eve game. We have the perfect set up and lot better tickets than what Broncos can offer.

Now if he plays really well we will have to make sure he always has a "visitor". If he doesn't then he can never visit again!!!!!!!! :)

Much to my relief Myers has been strong in the running game. Hopefully he won't get trampled again like Warren did to him last week. I have a feeling Myers might be the guy all year.
