If you throw in other miscellanous marketing love and hate fests he actually gets press in Denver where if you hear of Jake in Philly it normally gets only as far as the editing room floor. He gets heat because he's too black, not black enough or that he hangs out with some black guys on Sundays.

Griese gets more heat than Plummer because his backup at Michigan Tom Brady is actually making a career for himself. No wait. That's not true. I guess it was because he sucked!
