I'd have to go with Okoye.

Okoye will probably get it, but Marcus' INT was sweet. Great catch! ;D

Him or Willis, I agree. Sorry. I wish the world for Marcus Thomas, especially after the scrutiny he's been under, but the other guys deserved it more.

Very nice play by Thomas, it was nice to see it live.

I voted for Shawne “BrainsOut” Merriman. That sack on Brady was sick. And even though the Chargers were down 24-0 at that point he didn’t forget to celebrate.

that was nice of john lynch to lend his back and be at the right place at the right time

thomas deserves to be on the list, but not to get votes for this.

I didnt get to watch the game. But from the sounds of it Moss could have been up there as well. With a sack and a FF. Also Moss has more tackles and sacks then J anderson and G Adams. who were selected before him.

The sad part is - though I love MT and badly want him to do well - he was punked on that play. Stonewalled like a mo-fo. The INT came because he couldn't beat the single-team block and was just standing there when the ball was batted away ... watch it again.
Our DTs are the weakest link on the roster .... the fact that MT is playing so much speaks volumes on that.

How can Okoye not be leading that pole? Well, I guess I did vote for Marcus Thomas. HAHA!!

Okoye should win. Willis had 8 tackles. Big whoop. He's a MLB. He's there to rack up tackles.

Agreed ... 2 sacks and a forced fumble should win it for a rookie DT.

Not to mention that he's only 19 years old and that was his first NFL game.
That kid is something else.

I voted for Thomas but that was pure Bronco homerism...there's no way he deserves it over the other guys, and so far the voting reflects that with Thomas only having 4%!!
But whilst he may not be outperforming other top rookies just yet, it is encouraging to see him contributing and making plays, particularly given that even the best DTs don't necesarily do anything their first year.
He would probably have been kept on the roster regardless, but I think that the fact we got rid of Warren and Kennedy and the playing time he's been seeing is testament to the fact he's already made himself a legit part of the rotation even if he's not quite ready to start yet.

You obviously didn't watch the game. Willis has been terrorizing teams.

Willis is a MAN!!!! I am not taking anything from that guy, I really like Thomas and he is getting better every week. So is Moss. Now it is Crowder's turn.

I gotta tell you, Im not overly impressed with Willis. Ive seen both of those games and yeah he makes tackles, but they arent for losses, they are generally well beyond the LOS. He gets blocked out of a lot of plays.
He's no DeMeco Ryans thats for damn sure. Ryans was a force at MLB as a rookie last year.

I saw him play the Cardinals. He did a pretty good job. He tackles well. "Terrorizing" doesnt really describe what I saw. That's overdramatic.
2 sacks and a forced fumble is oustanding for a DT. Okoye did it in his first game as an NFL player, and at only 19 years old.
That's much more impressive than what Willis accomplished. Willis has the west coast excitement behind him though, so I would expect him to win a vote like that.
