Just wondering if anyone has heard any story about the snapping so far this year. Nalen is usually incredibly solid as a snapper. Considering that Cutler is the same height as Elway, I don't quite get all the low and high snaps so far this year. Cutler no matter how calm he may seem is still a rookie. I think he really starts to panic if stuff happens that is unplanned for. He'll grow out of it, but a low snap he has to pick off the turf, or one he has to jump up for (and both have happened), he throws a wild pass afterwards. And I was seeing way too many poor snaps.
Any ideas?
Well it's been a long time since he has had to Shotgun so much.

Yea, but he is doing it even when Cutler has his hands planted firmly between his butt cheeks. I just don't get that. Snapping the ball has never been an issue in the past.

There were quite a few bad snaps. So many, that the announcers finally mentioned it during the Raider game in the second half. But my brother and I noticed it even in the first game.

I noticed alot of low snaps week 1 but against the raiders I thought the snaps were better, but maybe I wasnt paying as much attention as week 1

Actually, the problem in this case was that Cutler was not used to someone being able to snap the ball so quickly...at least I seem to remember Kaylore saying something along those lines during pre-training

A number of snaps were realy bad the first game. I've seen the game both live and on tv now, and it just didn't come across how bad they were on tv because of the camera angle.
