Our tight ends have made 4 catches through 2 games. My question is how explosive will we be with him in the seams considering how good the recievers are. I believe the O will open up bigtime, especially in the red zone. what is everyone else's take? Sheffler should be a god send.

I hope Scheff finds his spot again, but with the way Graham is blocking, and the way Stokely is working the slot, it's going to be an uphill climb. I have a feeling he will only get a real shot this year if someone gets injured.

The running game is just too important to pull Graham off the field.

A lot of Tony's future might have to do with what kind of condition Rod is in after 6 weeks. That would jam things up even more.

Sheffler can create comical mismatches. There's got to be a good reason we're not using him, and hopefully it is just the injury healing.

He looked like a man among boys at times, last year. The dude's got freaky potential, and Cutler likes throwing to him. I'm hoping we get him back out there and involved. Nothing against Graham, but I think Sheffler has more upside as a receiver.

Scheffler is going to take quite awhile to get back up to speed. I don't know if we'll really see him until a few more weeks have passed.

I don't mind Graham in there right now to help with protection. Meyers is still getting up to speed and it's nice having Graham in there to protect the pocket.

Scheffler wont replace graham, he'd replace jackson in the 2 TE set. Stop comparing the two

When is Scheffler returning?

The news that Stephan Alexander has returned tells me Scheffler is going to be out awhile.

If Scheffler improves his blocking, sure, he could help the team out a lot. But as it stands, his abilities as a receiver is not what the offense lacks right now.

Yeah I gotta agree with this. Javon and Marshall are huge and have amazing hands. Another big guy with big hands is not going to suddenly solve our scoring troubles. We just need to keep practicing and getting better.
