Not happy with the finish but we are in the same league as the rest of the NFL now....

If you feel the need to talk smack then feel free... Even in the loss, I am very happy where my team is right now and the strides we are making in taking you to OT in your own house and losing it on the leg of an idiot.

Savor your win, you deserve it...

11 straight losses and you've turned the corner? Ha!

The Raiders are in good hands, which is bad news for us. Their scheme is light years better than it was and they have enough pieces on offense to go with their defense. They should be in every game. McKowan had pretty good game other than throwing at Champ Bailey. They are definitely better than the Chiefs right now because the Raiders are more balanced.

He's happy with the loss and there are those on this board who are unhappy. I know that we have work to do but we could be like the Raiders and be 0-2. I will take the win and build from it. Look at the positives!!!!

As soon as Shell left the corner was turned... Now all we have to do is take the scholarship away from Shank-kick-kowski and we'll be much better off.

Denver outplayed them, but we still need to learn how to finish. Raiders are better than last year, but there is still a lot of work to do before they are in the league that the Broncos are in. Chargers getting spanked right now 31-7, look like Denver is #1 in the Afc West

Funny how the defending champions struggled to put the Titans away who Im told have no one, a crappy QB and is, in general, a crappy team.

Yet we suck because we had trouble with a division rival. Hmm, Indy struggled with a divison rival. Didnt they just win a superbowl?

Shut the **** up and be happy. Good game RR.

The team is getting better. I fully expect Oakland to move up to 3rd in the division this year after watching them. They can run and throw in spurts which means they'll average about 10 more points a game than the chops. And the defense can be a load on the front and back ends. One of the better DB groups in the league.

I hadta go to a dang wedding today... then I come home to find that Denver managed to squeak by in OT. Not too bad of a loss! We are on our way up (or Denver is on its way down). Kiffin next Gruden.

Raiders brought it, but Lynch says it best:

"I feel bad," Broncos safety John Lynch (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=2441) said. "But not really."

Broncos on the way down, please don't embarrass yourself. You guys are on the way up but so are the Broncos. This is going to be a scary division the next few years. Good game all around though, typical rivalry game.

I knew that Oakland would eventually field a professional football franchise. I mean, you can't just suck ass forever. Still one for us in the W column.

I wasn't surprised with how close the game was... it's an AFCW game, often times you can throw records out the window. The better team won yesterday. Both teams are on the way up.

Within the division, I think the Chargers are neutral at this point. They have had 2 tough games to play, so it remains to be seen if Norv is going to bring them up or down.

KC ... well, that's another story. They have had 2 road games and lost 'em both, but they look very bad. I think they've easily taken the biggest steps backwards at this point.

It's going to be a long season ...

Teh Faid do have a pretty good D except the Denver WRs are a better bunch than the Faids' DBs. The difference was in the play if the Broncos' Run D.

It was what it was.... Denver won. Bottom line....

Just remember, when it's our turn, I will see how many have the sack to come to my site (http://www.raiderskickass.com) and show the same class... oh and it will happen soon
Just remember
Right now the most important thing for Kiffin and the Raiders is that they stay the course. Keep in mind that when Jon Gruden took over for the Silver and Black they were in total disarray with huge questions at quarterback. Gruden lost his first game to the Chiefs by a score of 28-8, and after a win over the Giants was victimized by the Broncos at home to the tune of 34-17. What followed in the next three years were two AFC Western Division Championships.
You have a long way to go, but keep chopping wood, Raider Nation.
