BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A woman and her toddler son were bitten Thursday morning by a dog at the home of Cincinnati Bengal Deltha O’Neal.
Police said a woman called 911 shortly after 8:30 a.m. and asked for help, but investigators said she hung up before officers were able to obtain her address.
Authorities traced the woman’s cell phone number and checked a customer’s home in Monroe Township, but no one was inside.
Neighbors said two people had left the home about 20 minutes earlier inside a Cadillac sport utility vehicle that belongs to O’Neal.
Officers found Jasmie Risco, 23, and her 3-year-old son, Jaiden, undergoing treatment at Anderson Mercy Hospital for dog bites to their legs and buttocks.
Investigators said O’Neal was not at home when his dog, a Rottweiler, allegedly bit the pair but returned to take them to the hospital.
The dog has been taken into police custody and the incident remains under investigation.
Police did not say what relation the woman and her son have to O’Neal.

Ban all Rottweilers
Rotties and Pits....along with mixes of either....are the only "banned" breeds under my homeowners insurance policy. I just learned this because it looks like we may be picking up a 160+ pound English Mastiff, and wanted to make sure I wouldn't lose any coverage. Even though they are really nice dogs, it seems a lot of insurance companies around here are starting to ban pretty much any breed of dog over 40 pounds....

I once read pittbulls can be some of the meanest or the nicest dogs depending on the owner because pittbulls are very loyal and will do anything to please their owner. So if an owner rewards them for gaurding a house or attacking people the dog will do what it can to please the owner. If youve ever owned pittbulls im sure you would agree with that.
Iv had pitt bulls and all them have been way friendlier than the black lab german sheppard i have. Most people probley would have had him put to sleep he was pretty bad didnt listen to anyone and attacked whoever he wanted never anything to bad he never went for the face or anything he would chew the hell out of your ankles and calfs though. but he has turned out to be my favorite most loyal dog it seems like after about 3 years he turned into an awsome dog. He only has a problem with strangers if someone he knows isnt with them.

The Mastiff seems like an incredible dog...
Mind telling us how much you might be paying for said animal?

It's not the breed, it's the owner. Just ask Ceasar Milan.

Whooaaa, Ban Rottweillers...
Come on now, I have had them all of my life and they are the most dependable, loving dogs I have ever seen. Just like any dog, they need leadership from their owner to behave in society. Yes, because of the strength and size they can be dangerous for someone who does not take the responsibility of owning one serious but making a comment like that is just plain ignorant!

Sorry, I was being sarcastic
And it's not always true that it is just how you bring up your dog. If your dog's Sire and Dam are both unstable, then more than likely you will have an unstable pup. Backyard breeding and the creating of 100+ lb. mongrels that peddlers and the general public call pit bulls have led to the demise of what was once America's dog.

Only one bad dream? You're lucky, I still suffer from nightmares because of that jerk. It's OK though, my shrink says I'm doing much better.

Oh man. The worst was against NE on that Monday night game I think it was. He muffed that safety punt and then he just looked flat out stoned and gave up a TD in the final minutes. I just wanted to.......But that was years ago. Thank god that nightmare is over.
Hey. How come we don't have a smiley for Deltha Taco? We have one for SOB. Might as well have one for Doh Neal.

Getting her for "free" from her current owner who is taking a job in NY and can't have her in the apt. She's not fixed, though, so we plan on getting that done.....along with all the annual shots and visit to the vet to get her fully checked out. So "free" really means a few hundred bucks.
