I basically missed the entire game. I didn't even think to look for him in the short amount of game time I did see. So, was he in there?

Can somebody get Rhymes a stat sheet and a tivo? Um, yes he played, um, yes he ruled. Nuff said.
The question is, how dare you miss the game? What kind of fan are you? Geez ;D

He got in on a few plays, and made an impact on almost all of them.... exactly what we need.

I need a DVR or Tivo in the worst way. I was flying back home from Vegas, only saw a little bit of the first quarter.
But hey, go Simeon.

We'll hook you up with a TiVo. Just dont ask any questions if the wires seem to be hooked into somebody else's yard ;D
Simeon made a couple of great impact plays and seemed in great shape. There was one particular run that he stuffed that made Marshall Lynch look like a ragdoll. If anybody had any doubts that the dude wasnt in gameshape, today was a good answer. Once he gets into our playbook a bit more, I'm gonna be stoked about him.

It took Rice 4 seconds into his first action to make his first play as a Bronco.

Couldn't agree more. With a bit more play time to get up to speed playbook wise and in shape i think he's gonna work out well. Dumerville was great today as well. Our DE's will be solid as the year progresses. Also saw marcus Thomas quite a bit today too.

Aww man, you missed some awesomeness when Elway was making comebacks. This was good, but it wouldnt even make the top 50 of all time Denver history.

The '85 vs San Diego double blocked field goal return for a TD is still one of my favorites by the way...

The Monday night drubbing of the Raiders in 95 was frickin awesome too. The Drive 2 is a great game.

Liked this finish? Go get a copy of the 1995 game against the Redskins from Atlas.
It was the game where Rod Smith made his first NFL catch.
Absolutely an incredible finish.

Rice had a nice tipped pass and smoked a reverse that everyone else on the team was overpursuing. He played okay in what little time he did play.

I was at that game in the South Stands, where Rod made that finger tip grab. Still makes me smile to think about it.

Simeon had a couple nice plays, but didn't get a whole lot of pressure on the QB from what I remember.

I did love the reverse stop on Rosco Parrish. Freakin didn't fool him at all, that was a terrific stop.

We need to line him up at LDE next week so he can be over Cornell Green. ;D That dude sucks.

What a great catch / throw. Definitely one of my faves. The other one I always loved was McCaffrey's catch in Minnesota that was tipped 3-4 times on the goal line with less than 2 minutes left.
This game definitely goes in my top 50 though. Probably top 25.

It makes the all time top 50... if it was a regular old game winning FG with only a couple of seconds left AFTER a Time out... probably not. But the way it ended, that's top 50 easy! btw, I saw them practice that at camp early early on. They were doing good to get the kick off in 20 seconds. Today was amazing!
One last point, today was the first come from behind win in a very long time. Cutler may have been a little over zealous today, but when it counted he came through... something Jake Plummer never could muster. I swear, that last completion to Walker woiuld have been an Int or a fumble snap or any number of negative plays from the last couple QB's here in Denver. Cutler is going to be the man!

IDK I would put this game top 50 but not top 25 seriously how spoiled are we that we see a game like this and for most of us it doesnt even crack the top 25? I remeber that seahawks game when elway ducked the DE popped up and dropped a bomb for a touchdown, I dont even remember who he threw it to. there were some awesome games durring the 86 season as well. man I miss Meck he would be god on this team.

Future HOFer Shannon Sharpe was the recipient of that pass in Seattle.
