Great game, Elam nearly blew it. Defense looked solid and the O line did a good job protecting Jay.

Special teams is... ummm... Special, not much to say here.

the special teams must get better. we hire scott obrien and today was more of the same on punt/ko coverage ... the return game was average at best, too.

lots of work to do - but today was HUGE win!

Say what yyou want about Elam but that last kick is one of the best EVER.

How they got the FG team on the field and get the kick off in 14 seconds seems impossible to me.

Shanahan said after the game...THERE IS NO ONE he would rather have than Elam when it comes to crunch time.

I wouldn't mind Mason Crosby.

Good point. He's had a lot of experience kicking at the NFL level.

Tell me why we couldn't have spiked the ball to stop the clock prior to the final FG. Hadn't we just made a 1st down with Javon. It has probably been written about.... but please clue me in.

What a win, i almost passed out there at the end.

I thought Jay was going to spike the ball, instead Elam comes on the field to kick a game winner!

Just wow

the broncos were out of timeouts and shanahan thought it might be fourth down. rather than risk making a mistake by spiking it on a possible fourth down, they decided to kick it.

regardless, the broncos won so it worked out ...

Even though the special teams got us in the ****ed up position in the first place, Scott O'Brien's coaching got us the W. Elam said in a postgame interview O'Brien had the kicking unit sprint out on the field simulating a similar situation on a daily basis during training camp.

perfect practice makes perfect ... one should always cover every scenario so players are familiar with the situation when it happens ... like today.

Stat of the Week No. 2: In the Denver-Buffalo game, the Broncos had the lead for exactly one second -- the final second.

Based on what the Patriots did, "steal" might not have been the most appropriate of words... ;)
