This is a really impressive Oklahoma team. Probably the best team in the country right now, given that USC looked really sloppy vs. Idaho last week and LSU had some struggles in the first half vs. MSU last week, although they really flexed their muscle in the second half. I want to see what LSU does tonight vs. VT.

There have been some positives to take from this game...not much though. Wright looked good when he came in, I dont know why they put Freeman back in there. Campbell looked pretty good in the first half with a sack and TFL, McCarthy hasnt been bad, Gooden has been active, although made a stupid play on the unnecessary roughness. Other than that though it has been a bad effort...CBs have been poor, WRs have been very poor. OU really took it to us for most of the day.

Congrats SoonerBronco and Angryllama. A very impressive performance by your team in all aspects.

Edit: Another TD for OU on a slant and run. 51-13. Ugh. Watch out, Big 12 and the rest of the country for that matter.

This is the best OU team since 2000. Even then I dont remember us having this many weapons. There are potential first round picks all over the place out there.

Bradford has been exceptional. He's probably leading the country in passer rating as a frosh.

Mack has been preaching for a long time that he wants a different type of player here at UT. It is disappointing to see guys doing stupid stuff. That being said, I think appropriate action has taken place. Unlike oklahomo we don't just look the other way when guys get arrested, we actually punish players. I think all the players with issues this season got slapped with a 4 game suspension, and some of them are pretty darn good football players

According to the Travis County Sheriff's Department, Texas senior safety Tyrell Gatewood was booked into the Travis County jail at 12:36 a.m. today on two misdemeanor counts of drug possession. Bond has been set at $5,000 - $2,500 for each count. Gatewood was still in jail at 10 a.m.

Gatewood, 22, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession in Septemeber 2006. But that charge was dropped after former Texas linebacker Aaron Harris said the marijuana cigarette in the car he, Gatewood and former UT cornerback Tarell Brown were riding in belonged to Harris.

Gatewood, a 6-2, 210-pound senior from Tyler Chapel Hill, has played receiver, linebacker and safety at Texas and has performed mostly on special teams.

This marks the sixth arrest involving a UT football player since June 1.

A lot of people here in Austin, myself included, are really upset with all the crap that has taken place this off season. Mainly because Mack has been preaching that he want's a different type of athlete at Texas. Personally, I wish he would just kick the scum bags off the team. I know he is off pending an investigation but this is the second time he has been busted he needs to be gone. Mack needs to get this team straight. I am sure he will do the right thing but this is getting ridiculous.
