I think the 16 points has more to do with Nervous Norv's offensive genius than anything else. Well that and "this Broncos squad eats rocks and sh!ts gunpowder."

If our "pressure" on the QB remains as consistant as it did in the preseason, I expect 8-8. If Simeon can make an actual difference, maybe 10-6. If the defensive line really was doing as they said, showing a "base" defense (seemed more an excuse than a real reason), or, if they gel and vastly improve, could go 12-4 or 13-3 imo.
Our year hinges on one thing more than anything else, our densive line and LBs. Our offense has enough firepower to get it done. Our corners are great. Our special teams suck, but unless we are really that much on the edge of the razor talent-wise, they are not going to tilt our season one way or the other.
It's all about the line, and all about putting pressure on the QB. Oh yea, stopping the run wouldn't hurt either.
