Invest in the Directv Ticket
three years ago I cancelled the ticket and decided to go out and watch all the games....i ended up spending about $75-100 each Sunday
since then I've bitten the bullet and forked over the money upfront...that way i can kick back on some Keystone Lights, cook my own food and save a little bit of green
plus I have some idiot-box friends that are fans of other teams (Skins, Cowboys) and I make them bring over beer or food if they want to watch their games in the "small" TV room
GET SOME

I would if I had my own place but I'm room with two other guys in North Edison and we have digital cable and the MLB package.
Once I get my own place, I will def. get DirectTV.

I've said this once and I'll say it again.
We need an NYC Broncos bar. Not NJ, NYC. Every other team has one and there are enough of us here to get together for the games.
NYBroncs (Matt) is with me on this one.

Send Blove a pm. We hung out at some bar in New Jersey. Miami Mike's or something to that effect. Not sure what part of Jersey it was but it's a kick ass sports bar. We even planted some Broncos stickers on his walls. Good food in a tailgate atmosphere on game days. Various fans have sections all over the bar it's a freaking riot. Mike runs around in a referee outfit talking smak blowing his whistle etc. Can't recommend the place enough.

I work for North Jersey Digital News Media Group, which owns the Bergen Record (Hackensack) and the Herald News (West Paterson).
I work at both sites as an online web editor.
Where in Bergen County do you live?

Ok this is the place we all gathered a few years ago for the Giants game. Not sure where this is in relation to you guys. He knows about the omane group as we had a dozen or more of us at his bar for the Giants game a few years ago. He took really good care of our group.
He has the hottest waitresses running around there also which is a bonus!

I will never make it out to NJ as I don't have a car, can't drive for **** and I'm somewhat lazy on my one day off.
I usually watch the games in downtown Manhattan...the east village to be precise.
If anyone wants to start up a Manhattan Broncos group, PM me.

That place isnt bad, right off rt 10, been there a number of times over the years, plenty of space and tvs to catch a number of games. Went there more often when I lived in morristown and met friends there. Its also a big Penn State hangout on saturday's.
I moved down to somerville and usually hit The Clubhouse, its a sports bar above Mannion's on main street. Cryans out west on 22 also has the ticket.
Another decent place on sundays is The Fox and the Hound at the menlo mall.

hey chris. yeah i am all for a bar if we can get some people.
i set up a bronco playoff party a couple of years back at a bar in manhattan. it happens to be the bar where colorado u chapter of nyc meets up in. if that isnt a good place well then i have a 52 " lcd sony xbr3 with yamaha 2700 with hdmi cables and 6 speakers to go along with a subwoofer that i would be willing to share with fellow bronco fans here. i am in queens. i also have the super fan package so that everything is in hd. if someone wants to start something up i can pick you up chris. let me know or pm me. we should have a bar BTW. there are a lot of team bars here in NY. just not broncos unfortunately

Meck is right. Miami Mike's is ****ing great. The guy has gotten so popular that they have now named the place after him. It used to be called 10 West Sports Bar and Grille and it recently reopened as "Miami Mike's Sports Zone". I went for his grand reopening a few eeks ago when the Chiefs played the Dolphins in preseason. The hotel invested a ton of $ into renovating the place.
He has 50 brand new HD Plasma Screens, three Playstations 3 systems for game play, a Gatorade/Powerade cooler box, and an in-bar walk up concession stand as if you were at a game.
His Saturday College Football days are great as he has the fight songs for every college team, and plays them after a certain team scores a TD. As someone pointed out, Saturdays are a big Penn State hangout. There is a Joe Paterno look a like that runs around.
I am going there with 5 buddies to finish off our fantasy draft this Saturday Night. We should be there by 6PM on Saturday.
Meck, Jets will host the Broncos in 2008. Plan on flying into Newark and I'll pick you up. Let's rock Miami Mike's next year before the Broncos Jets tilt.

I live in Long Island, and the only time I went into Manhattan to watch games was at the ESPN ZONE in Times Square, otherwise it is the DirecTV Sunday Ticket for me. I would love to have a chance to go to an OrangeMane NYC Bronco Bar Gathering for a game or two this season. I am sure we could all put our minds together for this one. The City is the perfect place to do it. If you are in Long Island, I suggest a bar called the Cornerstone Pub in Mineola or BK Sweeneys in Garden City. They aren't Bronco Bars, but they have all the games, good wings, and great beer specials for Sundays. Plus, the crowds in those bars are all hardcore, knowledgable football fans.

50 new HD plasmas? holy cow...That place was pretty darn good to begin with. My site is down right now otherwise I'd post some pics of Mike's waitresses.
Broncos 08 in NY? I'm there. Done deal. Is our Broncos sticker still on the wall by his podium deal? Man that was a good time over there. Tell Mike I said hello.

I live 10 minutes from Menlo Mall. Does the Fox and Hound get packed?
I'll go there on Sunday to catch the game since it's close proximity to my place.

The Fox and the Hound does tend to get a little crowded
Although, I usually caught Rutgers games there, so the Sunday crowd could be different

Ok for the Long Island City guys I propose we meet at the CU bar in midtown. It's easier for you to get across and easier for me to go straight up.
Plus, we can take that place over and get them to turn the sound on.
