Agent: Andre Hall makes Broncos
Former USF running back Andre Hall has made it through the final cut and will be on the opening-day roster of the Denver Broncos, his agent said Saturday.
Jonathan Kline said Saturday that Hall, who had missed three preseason games with a hamstring injury, has impressed Denver's coaches enough that he'll open the season as the Broncos' No. 2 tailback, behind starter Travis Henry. It's exciting news for Hall, who was cut by the Bears and Bucs last summer before finding a home on the Broncos' practice squad late last season.
Count Hall as the fourth former USF player assured of a roster spot, along with cornerback Anthony Henry and linebackers Kawika Mitchell and Stephen Nicholas. We'll update with USF's other four NFL hopefuls between now and the league's 6 p.m. deadline for final cuts.

If thats true I'm very happy it means Shanny is keeping the best guys Henry, Young, Hall, Sapp
Hall = Q
Young > Bell > Hall
Hall = Q
Young > Bell > Hall
= change of pace
It's all I can figure. Wanted a different running style to attack the edges...though I think Young did a pretty good job of that.

Keep Bell, Hall, and Young and see who stands out when it counts.

Hall really did some impressive things in camp. You got a little taste of it last game, but he's faster and quicker and it looks like he's still not 100% healthy from getting dinged up. Either way, I feel very, very good about our running back depth this year. We have a lot of guys that can pound it.

That is hard for me to beleive. I dont know if Bell has fought hard enough to make the team but I think that Young would be #2 or even Sapp. Also I think Smith would make the team before Hall. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Completely agree Young should be #2.

Possible that all seven - Sapp, Bell, Hall, Smith, Young, Johnson and Henry will be there after the cuts pending trades, etc. I don't think the roster will be final until next week for the backup and ST positions.....

yes keep talking Hall up and maybe we can drum up the trade value for him. He only played in one game and even then has not looked better than Young. Bell was valuable last year and I think he was playing fullback just to justifiy keeping one fullback. Shanny and his agent are up to something.

Yes, the agent almost certainly over-reacted (with joy of course) when he heard Andre was kept as a BACKUP. It's easy to exaggerate "backup" to "second string."
He prolly did make the roster though. Early news in the sticky thread has Kyle Johnson being waived...

Ummmm no. Sounds like he didn't make the roster even from what is being reported.

My adopt a bronco made the roster, and from what I was told today, the tears were flowing as he thought about the rough road he took to get there. Great Job Andre, there are alot of people that love him reguardless, but are very very proud.
