I saw on Kffl.com that Ian Scott was cut from the eagles. He was a pretty good DT with the bears, and I know that he is at least better than Jimmy Kennedy and Amon Gordon. Do you guys think denver will bring him in to increase to depth at DT? He is a florida guy!!

I think Bates is probably happy with the guys he has. Plus, we're going to want the guys in camp that have been running our system so we cna get as much cohesion as possible, this being our first year in a new defensive system.

I really hope we sign Tank Johnson, even though he's suspended. That would be a nice, young defensive line

That and if we get PacMan our secondary would own even more than it already does. Vick wouldn't be a half bad backup to Culter come to think of it.

No but when you see Amon Gordon get pushed all the way back into the secondary all game long and owned by every guard he faces you kinda get a feeling there not that good. It's not like you have to build rockets to come up with that conclusion.

Broncos didn't want Scott when he was a FA earlier this offseason and now he isn't wanted by Eagles either. Sounds like he isn't much to me.

I don't think Denver looked at him when he was cut by the Bears so I don't think they will look at him now.

Even if that was true (and apparently the broncos coaching staff disagrees), want to provide your scouting report on Ian Scott...an undersized DT no one wanted in the off season and one that just got cut?

I agree I think there are some people that we would have looked at but I dont think scott is going to be. I think that Gordon may not be the most talented but it sure looks like he worked hard this offseason and got better and grew as a player. I wish him the best.

If this thing about Kennedy is true and is cut...We have what? Sam, Gordon, Burton, and McKinley? That doesn't look that great to me.
I forgot about Thomas. We might as well go w/Sam and Thomas and see what happens.
