I had the "pleasure" of dealing with the "yellow coats" on several occasions yesterday as they were slithering through the parking lots pushing their "new and improved" rules.

#1 No more glass bottles allowed. PERIOD. If you are caught with glass bottles in the lot, you will be escorted out and loose parking priviledges.
Of course when my regular entourage finally arrived they were told to put their beer in cups. Being the "smart asses" they are they put the bottle in a cup (not the beer). Then we got our next visit, with a final warning!
#2 You may bring canned breskis, but you will not bew allowed to walk through the parking lot with the cans in hand. If you plan to visit other tailgaters you must put you "spirits" in a plastic cup.

I'm assuming next time they will tell us that our "noise level" must not leave our parking space, OR ELSE!

F-ing Assholes.

I guess rather than punishing the few dickheads which come to the parking lots, they would rather inconvienience everybody.

First it's the "1-800-he's cheering to loud" number. Now they tell me I have to drink out of a f-ing can, next they'll tell me I have to buy my steak at K-mart!

KMA!

Nut if you ever need another place to tailgate you know you are always welcome. Personally I think your group would fit in better with the LOT M type crowd south of the stadium. LOT M is packed full of tailgaters on regular season game days.

I had the "pleasure" of dealing with a yellow coat also but for the first time I was the one enforcing the rules. ^5 Had one try to cut thru my parking lot. RaidersSuck and I saw her coming. We both kinda laughed and approached her. I said maam "You are trespassing and I'm going to have to ask you to leave". She was like "Huh...What?" It was funny as hell and probably the most fun moment I've had tailgating in a couple years.

I heard Kegs are now allowed though so that's a step in the right direction. I can sorta understand the glass bottle thing but cans? Weird.

On a side note John Applegate came by my tailgate after the game. I asked him about the new "text message" complaint system and I told him I thought it was going to lead to problems for opposing fans just cheering for their team etc. John did say that only a handful of people actually used it and as far as knows he nobody abused it. Maybe it will work.

Has there been any problems with broken glass or people throwing bottles at other people? They wouldn't just change the rules without something triggering the change. Or would they?

Actually the next thing they are going to do I would assume is make you stay in your designated tailgating area and not block the wine and cheese crowd from parking as they drive through the parking lot 10 minutes before the game starts.ROFL!

Didn't have a problem with the yellow coats the last couple pre-season games.I'd be interested to see how they will enforce those rules for the raiders game.

Dont knock the wine and cheese. I love a good cabernet and some brie before the game.

Didn't know you were down there yesterday. Had I known, I would have stopped by ( I did see Raiderssuck chasing some women around the lot). I was a one man "tailgating machine" yesterday until about 4:30 when the "slackers" arrived.

Didn't know they changed the rules to allow "kegs". I'll have to look into that.
A keg-o-rator plugged into the generator would be OK, but I don't know how I could ever finish a keg of Mississippi Mud before kick-off.;)

So, essentially what you're telling me is to pack my overiszed plastic 32 oz mug so I can go between Lot MH and the other spaces without being stopped and asked for papers....correct?

A guy coming in from the wilds of WNY needs to know these things in advance.

No I wasn't there Nut. What I'd suggest Hogan is getting one of the biker guys to roll you around the lot. They have two seaters. You can sit and drink beer at various tailgates while he drives you around. They sit around lot MH like taxi cabs it freakin great! What I'm thinking is we can hire one or two bikes to just shuttle people around the whole day. lmao

I'm going to finally make it to Lot R this year and visit Archie. That's long overdue.

Bikegating! Try it!

I heard the new Keg rule via Jester. Not sure where he got the info. I can't keep up with all the rules from week to week.

Well, that's cool and all, but I still have to have my fuel in a plastic cup at the other tailgates I visit, no?

I guess so. I think the yellow coat who was coming up to me was probably getting ready to tell me the new rules before we tossed her. ;D

You know Nut they do sell those little mini kegs. They hold 5 liters of beer. That would be decent for a small gathering.

Wish I could've seen that Ha!

No big thing...a good beerman is prepared for just such emergencies. I know I have a big old plastic mug around here somewhere.

My place is right next to lot M. South of the stadium near Brooklyn's bar.

If you checked in with STG you are good to good man. She's the boss.:cowgirl:

As of now we have two chefs. Still working on the music. Desmond is working the reggae scene checking with his contacts.

Oh and bring your cans, bottles, kegs, and any raider gear you don't want.
