nothing like a faider fan bragging about preseason! Bolt, dont you remember (maybe not if you just joined your bandwagon LOL) when the Chargers went 0 and 4 then went to the SuperBowl. But hey, in Chokeland, they will have a trophy made up for best preseason team in the AFC west. Enjoy it while it isnt real. Nothing like Faider fans back to "We're going to the SuperBowl, Baby!"

I don't brag when the 1st string is playing the 3rd but when it gets to game 3 of the preseason you get a good look at your talent.
Culpepper is playing well, I think it's more the system than the QB though... this Lane Kiffen kid might just have it going on.

Actually 53 % is cause for concern. When Culpepper was playing well he was always well over 60 percent if I remember correctly. Sure rating looks good because of a 3-0 td/int ratio but it's misleading. Culpepper is washed up and pretty soon you will feel stupid for talking all this trash in preseason.

Had the 2 balls that clanked off of third string reciever's hands been caught, his completion percentage would be 64%
You're boy Jay is completing less than 60% of his passes also.

Ahh this is more like it. Some good ole fashioned Afraider excuses. In about 18 weeks the Raiders will need another scapegoat for the season. From Callahan to Turner, to Shell, Moss, Walsh etc etc. Who will it be this year? Silver and Black has become crap and crap and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Like I said just be around to back up your smack during season. I can't remember one thread from you past week 1 last year.

Culpepper definitly has looked pretty sharp....even though its preseason.
Wonder what will happen if Culpepper wins the job and blows it up....all while Russell continues his holdout? Probably go down like Brees/Rivers a few years ago...

On offense we're going to run out as many as 10 different guys from the end of last season. Along with an entirely new staff, schemes, plays etc.
What does last season or any one before that, have to do with this season?

Each year the Broncos have rebuilt. They start out hot and end up cold. Your point being these guys could get it together is well taken. It's not faulty logic to assume that a team that sucks in the preseason will suck during the year either. If you want to debate logic you need to maintain the same ethical paradigm. It's preseason. I've also watch C-Pep, and you're right...he has skills. He also has a ten-cent head which he uses to make bad choices, and small hands that he uses to fumble the ball with amazing frequency.

I believe that an average team would be, on avarage, 8-8. The Broncos at 9-7 were above average last year, and one of the winningest professional teams in all sports over Mike Shannahan's tenure. Again...well above average.

I wouldnt be surprised if culpepper and porter hook up for more than a few touchdowns this year. Porter has speed, Great hands, and good leaping ability. Where culpepper excells is that he can throw a great deep ball now this is where the raiders o-line comes into the picture.
im thinking teams will blitz the raiders alot to take advantage of the o-line troubles. which can leave either porter or Curry who is a big play threat in man coverage. Im sure Kiffin will move the recievers around trying to create mismatches pretty similar to USC's offense which actualy gives the quarter back the option at the line of scrimmage to change the play to take advantage of defensive mismatches. so if culpepper can get enough time to throw the ball i can see the raiders haveing a very good passing attack actually.
The run game is another story i just havnt seen anything that will make teams respect the raiders run game at all. Which is why i can also see culpepper not making it threw a season without an injury because of teams teeing off on the pass.

Preseason, schmeseason.... there is but one item I'm taking out of this one. There is something good happening in Oaktown, something intangible, something Grudenesque. Oh sure... there is nowhere to go but up, so we can only be going "in the right direction." RaiderFan feeling better about this year was a given because last season was the worst of all time. But there's something extra going on here - could be that Big Al has discovered the next Madden/Shanahan/Gruden kinda young 1st-time HC that is destined for great things. Thats kinda the feeling I'm getting.... so far...

I think it's good for the west if Oakland could get better. Them only winning 2 games a year just makes the whole division lose it's standing as toughest division in football. Oakland is letting the whole afc down by playing so unbelievably bad. In reality with all the high picks they have now on team they should start to play better.

Lelie made some of the best catches I have seen a Bronco wr make. did he have great hands though? I wouldn't say that. To me great hands is never dropping a pass and hanging onto them when you are getting drilled. Great hands is not the occaisonal spectacular one handed grab.

Oh we are talking about Shannahan now? Pretty much when you win 2 superbowls you join a class of coaches that not many are in. It makes you special. It's also not uncommon to go stretches with some tough playoff losses and season you come up short. The main thing in Denver though is no 2-14, 4-12, 6-10 seasons like you guys spew out 5 times a decade. So is Shannahan over rated? hell no he's just not as good right now as he was a few years back. How he adjusts and brings Cutler along will define his overall legacy. Just like I wouldn't say Al Davis is over rated. He brought a lot to NFL when he still had his faculties, just because for last 5 years he seems to be totally out of it that doesn't ruin how he was comish for AFL, and built some great Raider teams. Even the Raider fans nowdays have went way downhill. They are just a bunch of gangmembers with no balls.

i have no doubt that the poor sap actually believes it to be true.
Yep, every year a Raider fan tells me something like this.
Last year my good friend told me the Raiders were going to crush us
Then before that it was the super bowl
But don't get me wrong, i don't underestimate them at all
They cant be any worse than last season, i expect a fight from them come week two

Pathetic comeback partner! The coaches you mentioned built franchises player by player... The rat has been rebuilding since your dynamic duo left... and it has been all for naught! Next time don't forget to add Tom Flores to that List of 2x Superbowl winners who have built teams to win!

The only thing that matters right now:
2006 Season records
Raiders 2-14
Broncos 9-7
Now STFU Raider trolls, until you beat us again, you have nothing to say.

I hate to admit it but i get sick of hearing Raider fans talking about how good they are or how good its going to be.
Win something then talk, for the love of god!

I don't brag when the 1st string is playing the 3rd but when it gets to game 3 of the preseason you get a good look at your talent.
Culpepper is playing well, I think it's more the system than the QB though... this Lane Kiffen kid might just have it going on.
Culpepper is culpepper .Small hands , pressure gets on , he fumbles ...... But hey enjoy the preseason ROFL!

They stumbled to 4-0 last year, we are not undefeated this year Dumbass ROFL!
Oh, and the Donks were like 9-7 last year, how did that work out for you?
Well, we picked around middle of first round and then we signed our first rounder before the preseason games started. How is your FRer doing?
I will give you a little on Culpepper as he has shown more promise than all other rookie Qbs. Too bad he never got a chance to start with other NFL teams. Oh wait......

Once the first few games come through, we will hear that Raider Bill had a bad batch of Peanut Butter and will be in a coma for the rest of the season. Our Vikings OMane resident didnt know better; Raider Bill and other Faider fans will take it like purple Kool Aid.

I love all the optimism... I'll be here for the early arrival of the annual OM midseason meltdown... It starts in week 2.

If you are talking playoff appearences that would be correct... Now.. since you proved that you cannot read ( Not necessarily a phenomenon for donkey fans ) I posed the question how many playoff WINS since the departure of elway??? How many wins does it take to get to the AFC Championship 2x and How many wins does it take to get to the SB????????
