USC and LSU to play in national championship game

For the purposes of these projections, SI's preseason No. 1 and 2 teams were placed in the BCS title game and SI's predicted conference champs were used for those berths. To be considered for a BCS at-large berth, teams needed to be ranked in SI's preseason Top 14.
