Hey, he might only be a .500 coach but you have to remember he was saddled with the difficult ask of taking over two franchises with winning records. I mean come on, most coaches get the luxury of taking over teams that were 3-13 and stuff. Herm has been cheated that opportunity twice. Probably because of the good ole boy network trying to keep him down.

I turned on him the day he was hired....He was a proven average coach at best before he got here....I didn't need to take a "wait and see" approach given he took over a good Jets franchise and did little to make them better...and easily argued he made them much worse given the 4-12 stinker he laid on the way out the door.

His defenders blame the 4-12 on the QB injuries which was certainly a big factor but maybe the reason his QB's drop like flies is due to the fact his offense is so incredibly predictable and his run, run, run and run some more philosophy gets his QB's tee'd up in a lot of 3rd and long situations that allows the defense to pin their ears back and try to kill the QB.

At least that is my biased opinion.

With the Hunt family committed to spend $125m (about half their monthly income) in the next 3 years for Narrowhead renovation they will make sure to squeeze as much money as possible from the loyal fans. To squeeze LJ as much as possible and to sign cheap FAs in ManCintosh and Napoleon Harris.
BTW, I’m assuming the balance ($250m) is coming from tax-payers, which will be happy to help support a SuperBowl bound team headed by the best GM in professional sport.
