Ok, so what's next...i guess we cut Gold, sit DJ and move Moss to the Mike :)

I can't believe he'd be an improvement over DJ in the middle. Maybe he would know where the play is going, but could he get there?

In a related matter, Trotter tried out for Tampa Bay earlier today. The Bucs are set to begin the season with 24-year-old Barrett Ruud at middle linebacker, but after dumping several veterans on the defense, they could probably find a spot for Trotter.

I know a lot of folks in my Broncos audience thought Trotter might be a good fit because of all the injuries, but I'm told the Broncos have done their due diligence and have decided not to pursue anything with him at this point.

Well at least we can move on now. I thought he would be nice to have as insurance but who am I? I guess the coaches are happy with Webster being insurance for the middle.

Done their due diligence? What due diligence could they have done? Get him in and let the team docs look, a little workout, interview etc. That would be due diligence. Mosley's pissing in the breeze on this one.

Down here in Tampa, the reports are that his failing the physical was bogus. He'll be fine for the start of the season and then you line him up and set him loose!

I live in Tampa Bay as well....and i've heard the same

Rice will be fine come reg season.....

Come later this year I will be bumping all these threads crying about how DJ is the man post TTT.

Obviously the Broncos see what a few of us do as well, that DJ is not MIKE material. Not our fault alot of you are still as lost and clueless about it, sorta like how DJ looks out on the Field as the MIKE.

Everyone knows he looks lost right now. All anyone is saying is 3 quarters is early to give up. People are watching with hope and optimism as you hope he fails so you can "I told you so" bump threads? It takes a REAL genius to see he's struggling.

Bump the threads all you want. There was a thread that pointed out that you do NOT see the full D, at th is time. Unless you are living at the practice field, I doubt very much if you know just what the devil you are talking about. Give it a rest and let the coaching staff make the decisions, okay? I am sure they have a clue. I don't think you do.

The TV reports tonight didn't even mention Denver in the mix. Yesterday he was nearly a Bronco, so I think we've quit on the idea.
