Polian said the importance of the preseason for the Colts is such that he would prefer there be five preseason games this season rather than four.

“This is a year where you probably could use five,” Polian said. “Normally, you wouldn’t even think about that, but this is one – with all the people we need to look at – you’d probably say, 'Well, that would be good.’ But four is fine and we’ll get a look Monday night at a lot of people.

“Some people jumped out last week and we want to see them continue that and we want to see if the graph is up.”

Polian also said the team does not have interest in trading for Denver Broncos defensive tackle Gerard Warren.

“We have no interest in a trade at all,” Polian said.

Just as well....

If we were to trade with Indy...my guess is its for a low round pick...

I have no interest in low round picks...if we trade warren i hope its for a player....

The Colts have no one we'd want that they'd trade....well except maybe raheem brock...he's pretty good...

Old news. Don't know why Denver papers still think Indy is a possibility, the Colts have said since it came out that Warren was on the block that they had no interest in acquiring him.

Its simple... we painted ourselves in a corner with Warren and other franchises. We have made it so obvious we don't plan on having him this year that teams are trying to call our bluff. As soon as we would release Warren, I have no doubt that Indy would be lining up to sign him.

Its the way we played our cards.

didn't think the Colts had anything to offer after the Freeney re-sign.

werd. we arent getting anything for him except maybe a 6th rounder at best...and thats just because the team wont want to get in a bidding war.
