Ed Bouchette of the Pitts-Post-Gazette, say's there a chance that the Steelers may not have a need for Max Starks to even dress some games this year, let alone start for the Steelers.

Starks is in a battle right now with a rookie (Willie Colon) for the starting RT spot and he's not fitted for LT.

Steelers have Trai Essex that plays both tackle spots and guard. So he has more value as a backup than Starks.

I'm thinking Denver needs help bad. They need to protect the kid more than rush the passer.

Might be worth a look at making an offer for Starks.

I'm not really a fan of Starks at all, he is a very soft player, probably the reason Pitt is running him out of town after starting for their SB team.

We've sort of painted ourselves into a corner with this Gerard Warren move. Not very smart.

I don't know how good he is anymore but it's well documented that Pete Kendall has been trying to get his release or be traded from the Jets.

We should make a call to Arizona and see if we can swing a deal for Gabe Watson.
